I'm Red Till Dead

I said much the same as this (though less eloquently and specifically) a page or two ago and I had you in mind when I wondered if they’d consulted any fans or the club historian, etc. I won’t judge it too harshly until I’ve seen it (which might not be any time soon at 25 quid to get in plus the petrol money or train fare for a 4-hour round trip…), but my suspicions are that it won’t be as comprehensive (and therefore as good) as it might have been with input from those who have known and loved the club for a long time.
I saw your question yesterday and I didn't see a reply. I think you (someone) said that they had thought of starting a thread about what people would have liked to have seen. I was just adding things I would like, but I love the quirky stuff from our history like at least 3 people who played for us have saved people from drowning, though only one of those was in the Trent. I also love that there were plans to grow potatoes around the City Ground during WWI. They thought that they had about two acres they could utilise including some at pitchside!

Another idea for an exhibit- the East Stand terrace crush barrier that "Noddy" used to occupy and girate from in the 70s. He was a real CG cult hero in the grim 2nd Division days in the years BC.

Although I'd never met Noddy, I've heard many stories about him.
