NoThis yellow card rescinded after 120 mins is absolute horsehit as well. I know Martinez benefited the other night. Does that mean Onana misses the final now then?
So there is basically no consequence to picking up 2 yellows in one game of football? No

What about Onana?Martinez is suspended for the 1st leg of the semi-final.
The FA has said he isn’t. I think Martinez got a yellow in the first leg too, which might be the difference. What about Onana?
Especially when they can’t get glaring errors right.I thought level was onside?
VAR shouldn't be disallowing good, honest goals for a millimetre offside in the buildup, great storyline ruined.
I just don’t get the thinking. You shouldn’t be getting a booking in a shoot out so why wipe it? The wiping of it means they basically get a free hit to be a twat in the shoot out. And then not getting banned for the next round means there is no consequences to the bad behaviour. Utterly shameful, out of all the things they could bring in as a rule. The FA has said he isn’t. My issue with offsides being overturned is all other decisions they say it has to be a clear and obvious error. Yet they can’t tell if it was onside or offside from a replay, a slow motion replay, a replay where they paused the play as the ball is played. They can only tell by drawing a line that is open to interpretation at best.Especially when they can’t get glaring errors right.
Some of it is luck....Gutting for Cov that. Man Utd are just so, so f***ing lucky it's unbelievable.
I agree about the whole “clear and obvious error” thing, which is generally being ignored or applied inconsistently these days. Also, that Cov ‘winner’, while technically a correct decision (I certainly thought it was offside when the pass was made and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t checked sooner), would have been dealt with much better if the linesman was allowed to actually do his job and flag at the point at which the offside occurred. It shouldn’t be beyond the wit of the ref to use his intelligence and judgement to decide if and when to stop play. Ah, hang on, I might have spotted a flaw there…My issue with offsides being overturned is all other decisions they say it has to be a clear and obvious error. So how is it an obvious error?
