They’ll go straight back up I reckon.
Maresca will end up with a couple of loanees from his mate Pep to help out.

Yeah, I was disappointed when they got him as manager (would have rather they had got Gerard or Lampard).Decent chap that Maresca by all accounts.
Do you think that shows Bees fans how laughable their bid for Brennan was ?Leicester done well to get that much.
Not ‘arf.Do you think that shows Bees fans how laughable their bid for Brennan was ?
mmm....... got me thinking.I've been surprised at Leicester fans optimism this pre-season. Fans always seem to prefer the unknown to reality, I have seen so many comments of people being the most optimistic they've been in years and loving a guy who happened to work at Man City who hasn't done anything for them yet and talking about how he is much better than the manager who got them 5th twice and an FA Cup, when the reality is the best case scenario for them as a club right now (realistically) is the potential to become a premier league club again, not returning to those heights
They've sold their best two creative players, lost their best centre mid for free and lost what they seemed to consider their best two centre backs for free (although I never really rated Soyuncu and he seems like one of them who got rated higher simply from being out the team) while other players who were once rated massively are being linked with moves away (Castagne and Pereira)
On top of that Vardy is another year old, Daka and Inheancho linked with moves away. But they've got a few youngsters from big clubs (who they were recently competing with) which is apparently much better than the previously proven prem quality players because unknown potentially is always more excited to football fans
I mean honestly good for them they can be positive, and I'm not suggesting they'll struggle in the Championship, but to see your club go from winning trophies and potentially breaking into the top four to being relegated and dismantled on the cheap and getting in an unproven manager in just a few short years should be heartbreaking. Yet if anything they seem happier now than they ever did while actually in the division they are now hoping they can get back into
Certainly none of our rivals I'm sure...mmm....... got me thinking.
Where have I come across that blind hope and optimism before ?
Yep as will Boro, Sunderland,Ipswich,Coventry,Leeds,Southampton,Norwich……If they keep hold of Iheanacho they will have a chance.
Let’s buy him thenIf they keep hold of Iheanacho they will have a chance.

Why are the EFL not charging them. They are not under the jurisdiction of the PLPremier League charges Leicester with spending breach - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68580638
Yeah it's odd. If I recall just a few days ago they got off a ruling by the PL about providing the PL with some sort of financial planning documents because their lawyer (a certain N. De Marco, no less) argued, successfully, that they were not in the premier League and therefore not subject to premier League rules and procedures. Why are the EFL not charging them.
