Notice 2020 seems to be the cut of year for a lot of players, especially the older ones. Wonder if that is done with FFP in mind? End of the 3 year cycle and let's us start again from scratch?

I would extend Milo and Benalo if they are going to be first choice,
The rest I wouldn't bother other than Arnie up front but I don't Think he will get enough game time under Mon.

Wouldn't give any at this stage personally. See how next season starts for those guys at the top and keep them on their toes.

2021 is also a really mixed year for players. There are players above in 2020 you would rather see in 2021 than some in 2021.

2022 and 2023 make sense who we have on the longer deals.

Re: The Contract Thread

We have 31 contracted first team players. A bit too many?

Sure, but I would expect Edser, Gabriel, Grant, Smith, Tachtsidis, Clough, Aribiyi, Velios, Cummings and Bridcutt to all leave in the summer, possibly a couple of others like Watson and Hefele, be it loan for some of them or Sell/release, so that takes it down to around 20, which is far too small

Re: The Contract Thread

He's trying to win the Matty Fryatt award for pointless contract endurance

I'm not sure that's fair on Fryatt, you expect him to cancel his contract out of the goodness of his heart whilst he got hurt playing for our club and sit at home earning nothing?
