While we are at it, Nigel Clough!

What exactly did Allardyce do wrong, apart from saying he could travel to wherever and do a talk for a highly inflated fee?
When asked certain questions he clearly said he would need to run it by his FA employers and did mention that getting around third party ownership was do-able by actually buying the player wholly.
While I thought that he was the wrong choice for England manager I think he has been totally set up by the Torygraph and could have been well seduced by alcohol at the time of the questions.
His real crime was taking the piss out of Woy and Neville, two individuals who merit everything that comes their way.
Our own Daniel Taylor gives his thoughts on the matter.

The real buffoon of the matter isn't Allardyce, but the pure as the driven snow administrators invested in running the beautiful game. Head of the FA is the ex United Biscuits Chairman!. I wonder how much he really knows about football?
I've often been dubious as to how and why we've ended up with some of the players we've had over the years, especially loanees. Dumitru is the current example. We've consistently shifted our average players to sign more average players over the years, it's never made sense to me.
Billy was as corrupt as they come apparently, so I fully expect to see him involved.
Possibly explains his decision to withdraw from the St.Mirren job....
Seen a list that names 4 current Premier League managers, a former PL assistant manager/caretaker, and 2 out of work managers.
He is basically an idiot.
As an aside, can we have just one f***ing thread where Billy Davies doesn't get mentioned?

So do I, it was just a joke. Not sure the same could be said for Brian though.I hope that Nigel is whiter than white or the university ethics lecturer on the tv calling for a more ethical outlook in football is going to have egg on his face as he held 'Young Nigel Clough' up as an example of the good side of the game.

Looks like fat Sam will be back as England manager by the end of the weekend then.

Don't know how many, if any, of those are true. The next few days will tell I suppose.
