Roast dinner, yes, but what the hell is going on with that gravy?

Aye... you could fill in pot holes in the road with that bogger!

The Brentford 'ultras' remind me a bit of the young lad who wandered round the Torquay ground, Plainmoor, with me on my tour of the grounds.

It was my last visit of the season and sadly that last visit, by chance, was to the club who finished 92nd in the league.

The chairman was on the pitch telling the local TV interviewer that he was confident the team would soon gain promotion back to League 2. That was ten years ago. The young ultra was meanwhile showing me the flag saying 'Torquay ultras' pinned up at the back of the terracing on the half way line; I got the impression from his description that there were about ten of the Ultras.

In fairness VP, that’s probably about eight more than Brentford have got.

Sad to see Torquay struggling-I went to Plainmoor in a pre-season friendly in 2005.
The game ended 2-2 as Megson’s side prepared to thrill League 1!

I’m still shuddering at the sight of two of the most vile vegetables in the world… broccoli and Brussel sprouts. 🫣🤢🤮
