I'm going to be a nervous nelly here and say I'm starting to freak out a bit at the moment. The fixtures are out tomorrow, and so far;
We don't have a starting XI, let alone a squad
Johnson hasn't signed a new contract
Cooper hasn't signed a new contract
Samba wants out
There no credible links suggesting any signings are anywhere close
Were missing out on free agent signings to tin pot clubs like Bournemouth
We have no pre-season games announced yet
We have no kit, or kit supplier
There's no ST information yet
The planning permission for the ground isn't sorted
The Kirtchner money is still stuck in a holding account in Azerbaijan
I've still got bad Wembley flu
Someone needs to cheer me the f up!

I suppose the late finish to our season has presented problems. The few went off and had to play in this daft Nations thing, whilst the rest took a late, for them, holiday.
Guess they'll all be back and working very soon, though I'll bet most have been thinking deeply about the future on their hols. Just can't stop thinking about that sort of upheaval

Statistics show that survival rate drops from 63%as winners of the championship in comparison to 43% for play off winners.
That additional preparation time appears to be quite significant.

Yes, although not one of my biggest ‘customers’ I also have to schedule in Geneva, Malaga, Sosniowec, Zatek, and Den Bosch…although Tosno is off the schedule for now.
That I could understand. You can get ab ICE train down here (you’d have to change I think in Hamburg or Frankfurt?) towards Geneva.

Although I’ve not looked at any sort of planning yet, I figure there’d be enough travel to ensure I have to stay somewhere on the mainland for a weekend (on expenses), might as well be Germany.

Whilst I too would have liked to see a bit of movement and saying this with the caveat that the season starts earlier this year, but last season, we didn't make our first signing for the First Team until 13th July and that was a season we knew what league we would be playing in a hell of a lot earlier than we did this season just gone. Players and Coaches are either on International Duty or on Holiday.
Fulham havent signed anyone despite being promoted 2 weeks before us and indeed have sold one of the their main players (mainly because they had no choice, but still), Bournemouth havent signed anyone yet, in fact, most Premier League Teams havent made a single signing and they knew what boat they would be in a long time before we did.
