Rumour has it that if you say the phrase "panic buy" three times in front of a mirror, a new post on the Che Adams thread will appear.
Not sure if I believe you 😉

I had to double check that wasn't real!!! Can't see it on his feed unless he's deleted it due to his replies exploding...

Gnoto and Danjuma don't exactly scream Sean Dyche signings. It'll be Interesting to see how they fit in at Everton.

In one of the interviews, SC mentions he's hoping for some new signings by next week. Reiterates joined up communication between him, Ross and the owner to strengthen the squad.

I am hoping these rumours have been just that and behind the scenes, there is method at work and we are going to get some high quality additions.

The away start is brutal and I can't see a single point for a while and we don't want to be gelling 4-5 new first teamers in the league matches.

I thought Gnoto would’ve gone to a much better team, disappointed we weren’t in for him if he’s settling for a fellow struggler.
He looked a real talent when he first emerged, but there is probably a reason he ended the season sitting on the bench?

He reminds me of Adama Traore, different kind of player but seems to have the same end product. But definitely has age on his side.

I think like @Project Zeus says we seem to be targeting x2 GK, LB, CB, CM, LF/LW.

So if we land 6 players they have to be an upgrade on what we have from a performance point of view and also numerically as we have a 25 squad limit.

This means in reality we need to see 2 Keepers leave from Shelvey, Hennessy and Horvath, 3 fullbacks likely from Drager, Laryea, Biancone, Toffolo (Ban), Probably 2 CB to go likely from Cook, Panzo and Soh in the chat for that, 2 or 3 Centre mids from Obrien, Shelvey, Frueler, Scarpa and probably Fornah and then 3 Forwards from Wood, Dennis, Hwang, Aguilera and Surridge.

We have at least 12 players to get rid of to accommodate 6 additions so things aren't going to be quick or easy but still I refresh and hope!

Agree with all apart from Scarpa… I think (Hope) he’ll have a real part to play this year.

This window is lookiing like a disaster!
The next level of players are not keen.
It could be this rather than results that makes the big man take action over Steve Cooper, and bring in an established big name.

The Saudi league is massively impacting business all over Europe. Players are waiting to see if they get a Saudi offer because if they do it sets them and their kids and kids kids up for life. This is making business hard to do for many teams.

While we are a Premier League team we have no European football to offer so automatically we will be many players second choice for a move. With the Saudi situation maybe 3rd choice.

Just have to be patient.

Why aren’t players keen to join us,Captain?
It must be-
1.We aren’t offering enough money.
2.Wilson can’t close a deal.
3.We are targeting the wrong players.
I very much doubt it’s because of Steve Cooper (who many players would probably love to play for).
I agree that the window is starting to look like a disaster.

I hope not and frankly ive been a bit dissapointed by some players attitudes in not wanting to come to us.

If so, f*** em

I want players here who want to be here and will always admire effort / heart / desire over abilitly (see pogba et al)

Lets hold out for the 'right' signings

I know where my mood is at regarding Forest, because when I seen that Andre Ayew photoshop, I believed it. It seems like something we'd actually do right now.
