they need to get a move on then before all the good players are gone and we're left with dross that will get us relegated. if we even sign dross that is. we're going down unless we act fast.

Dane & co worked absolute wonders last season. Best I've ever known. Even the players we were slightly unsure about (Surridge etc) exceeded our expectations.

I have every faith in them working wonders again. If we do sign Hendo, and that's a sign of things to come, then we mean business.

I really can't understand any kind of negativity at all at this stage- given what we now know about our recruitment team and the apparent willingness of big E to back them.

Do people actually realise in order for a signing to happen a player needs to complete a medical?

Players are currently on holiday or away on international duty. We could have 6 or 7 deals agreed in principle but can't complete or announce anything until they return and have their medical.

With the exception of maybe 1 or 2 signings nothing is going to start moving properly for another couple of weeks yet so people better get used to that.

dont get me wrong, I’m ecstatic we got promoted and I think this season is going to be great.. even when we come down at the end of it.
I think its happened a couple of seasons too soon for us. we dont have enough quality’s as it stands to stay up and the amount it would take to get a competitive squad would ruin the club if we failed.
In my opinion we need to just invest wisely to get in a better position for coming back up the season after and I trust in Dane and Steve to be able to get us in that position.

Early days in the transfer window. Get behind Cooper and Murphy and trust in the process.

Why are people so worried? Reports of Samba and Horvath maybe out the door and rumours are we've lined up Henderson. Probably a better goalkeeper than both.

Reports of Spence going to Tottenham and rumours are we have Williams and Maitland Niles lined up.

We've got this. Just remember nobody would have considered Spence to be a good signing at the time.

I don't think it's pessimistic to expect us to go down. We currently have a worse squad than we did at the bottom of the Championship and the gulf between the two divisions is vast, even vaster when you are a team who hasn't been there for two decades and you are 3 weeks behind on recruitment.

Of course we all hope we stay up. Of course we want to have fun in the Prem but my expectations are certainly that we will be back in the Championship but with a year of Premier League experience, a bigger wallet and a more talented bunch of players.

If we stay up, then I'll be equally as surprised and delighted and it would either be down to us being backed by 100s of million in transfer fees and additional wages, or by the sheer genius of Cooper.

I'm hoping our signings are all smart moves with resale value and not club busting wages.

Priority one is tying up Johnno to an extension

Have faith no team will be able to know how to play against us as is stands, we'll till have the same spirit Cooper instilled and this can only grow, we'll be just fine
