They were and still struggling to recruit / keep people in. I was offered an extra 15 and a decent golden handshake. Yea ET's now with a different mentality Apart from WAFU's all Engineering branches are struggling. I'm instructing at Colingrad at the momentUnpossible. Pinkies are mere amateurs when it comes to snoozing compared to WAFUs.
How come you were able to branch change after 25 years? Surely the WE branch wasn't that short handed? Would that have been around the time they scrapped the tiffies and formed the ET branch?
I still don’t know why we haven’t sorted the rwb cover as priority, as we need it anyway, and then we can play Williams at LWB in an emergency or if Toffolo isn’t floating the boat. When is Richards back? I probably will get shot down but as long as we have 2 players for every position we are fine. So if Richards is back in October we can go with Toffolo and Colback until than. However if hes out till March next year for example than yeah probably another LWB. We deffo need another AMC.
No you are right as well, we need one there disparately. It dosent have to be anything expensive just someone of Toffolo's level. Or we could sign another CB and count Biancone as a backup RWB.I still don’t know why we haven’t sorted the rwb cover as priority, as we need it anyway, and then we can play Williams at LWB in an emergency or if Toffolo isn’t floating the boat.
Yep, the three Percy say are close and one or two of the other linked players and we're set. It'd be nice to get everything sorted well in advance of deadline day and not have to get into a mad scramble for players at the 11th hour.If they see Biancone as a RWB we dont need cover there - I'm not sure we do but we'll find out soon. Incredible that there's still almost 3 weeks of the window left - if the current links come off we're probably about done.
Forest added three more signings to Steve Cooper’s squad last week in Emmanuel Dennis, Cheikhou Kouyate and Remo Freuler but are still in the market for a further striker and have made their move for Maupay. Cooper still wants a left-back and winger before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
Could be somebody that plays both?Very surprised we are after a winger instead of a number 10 (given links to MGW, Aouar and Malinovskyi). A change of formation perhaps?
United should be playing Garner. They are an embarrassment. If Jimmy can't get on today with this shower in front of him he'll be wanting off anywayI still think we'll get Garner if United do get Rabiot, which would allow us some freedom to play around with Mangala, O'Brien and him as options for Lingardinho. We've got Freuler, Kouyate, Yates and Colback to sit.
I do think we'll see a filler wing-back and centre back come in though, particularly as Cook seems to be picking up a lot of injuries.
We'll have the players settled by the time the new stand is built at this rate
The good thing about Dennis is that he's a really strong runner who can get us up the pitch when there's defenders in front of him.Interesting to note that - although Awoniyi is a 6 footer - the rest of our forward players are relative short arses & Dennis & Maupay are 5’9” & 5’8” respectively..
Tbh looking at our recent recruits we've probably got a stronger cm than United (maybe). Something seriously wrong at that club when Fred & McTominay are ahead of Garner.I think Garner will hand in a transfer request.
Nothing new there and nothing any thoughtful fan of the club hasn't weighed in their own consideration of the season ahead. What do we think of this, then?

I totally get this but there's part of me that thinks this season is all going to end in tears. I love everything that has happened at our club over the last year, the recruitment has been superb but there's still that nagging doubt. I take it I'm not on my own?i’m pretty sure we’re signing players who match attitude and ideology of Cooper and Dane, not just hoovering up any decent player.
