Summer 2021 transfer window

First Team Squad
How succesful this window has been depends on whether the permanent outfield signings are able to contribue anything.

Loan signings are fine (Lowe and Tutu) or good (Garner and Zinck), nothing controversial here.

So if Ojeda, Drager, and Silva can adapt and start contributing we'll look back on this as a good window. Would just be nice if people (I'm thinking Twitter and elsewhere rather than this site)
could not throw their toys out of the pram and get behind the new players.

Having glanced at what is available, I can't say there is anyone out there that I would like the club to sign. Mostly injury prone, past it or shite.

They’ll fit right in!

bah , might as well get andy carroll , sure , he'll be injured half the time but he'll at least be decent in the air unlike all our other strikers.

I think 25m of that was Fulham on two signings. The other two relegated sides didn't buy anyone.

We continue to be "big spending nottingham forest" despite buying only one player for less than 2m.

Wilson was 12m, not sure about who the other is, but that's over 25%

Getting my currencies mixed up, I should know better. $25m according to the site I used. The other was Muniz, who came in at $8m US. So looking at around 18m sterling total for Fulham.

It is often with windows they are completely misjudged at the time they happen.

You see it all the time, windows regarded as good/bad are completely wrong. The excitment around Zach Clough/McCormack window, Djebbour/Fox window. The groaning at the Samba/Sow/Tiago Silva window.

Looks like it has been a good one, although I am sure Cooper has helped that massively.

I know it's early but it's probably time to start plotting our squad for next year already as top six is a big ask this year (we'd need 1.85PPG from here to hit 76 points which would probably be enough) and threat of relegation is fading when we look so much better already and also with Derby absolutely done for and Reading potentially to follow, plus P'boro and Hull who look dire.

GK: Samba, Horvath
RB: Spence?, Back
LB: Lowe?, ?
RCB: Worrall, Mbe Soh
LCB: McKenna, Ely
DM: Yates, Ojeda
DM: ?, Fornah
RW: Zinkernagel, Lolley
LW: Mighten, Silva
AM: Johnson, Carvalho
ST: ?, Grabban

That'd see Taylor, Figgy, Cafu, Drager and Smith all sold. Hopefully we'd get £2-3m combined for them. Bong and Colback released.

Might need to sell one of Worrall or Johnson to pay for Spence, Lowe and Zinkernagel. I reckon we could get all three for less than what we'd receive for Worrall or Johnson.

Not a million miles away then. Only a ball playing central midfielder and a striker with a bit more pace/power than Grabban and then a couple of backups.

I thought Figs was out of contract this summer? I don't see us getting anything for Smith or Taylor (nice to get their wages off the books though). Small fees for Cafu and Drager, as per usual with the Olympiacos lot.

Probably five or six players away (three of those potentially being Spence, Lowe and Zinckernagel) from challenging for promotion next season, plus replacing anyone we sell (i.e. Worrall, Johnson, etc).

Could do with Warnock and Jokanovic not getting sacked until after we can sign both Lowe and Spence.
Was thinking same. They're too good to have been let go on ability alone.
