Has the football league reduced the number of substitutes allowed, or do we just not have enough fit players ?

Yes the football league are idiots stuck in the past and, rather than increasing the number of substitutes allowed, have reduced them. :facepalm:

I think it is a shame we still can't use 7. I was hoping Lascelles and some of the promising youngster may get a chance from the bench but there is no chance with only 5 subs. Perhaps it should be a case that subs 6 and 7 have to be u-21 players?

Yes, the number of subs has been reduced to five for league games. Although, someone at the club clearly didn't realise we were allowed seven for the game against Notts.
