Heard on the radio today that, on the occasion of his 80th this weekend, Stuart Hall is to be the subject of some kind of gala dinner / tribute this weekend. Just wondered if we should start the barracking now or wait, as he did, until BC had passed away before slating him!!!

Anyway - dead or alive, I will always think of Stuart Hall with a scene like this in my mind.

Jeux Sans Frontieres (games without rules) which morphed into It's A Knockout was a staple of Friday evening entertainment when I was a kid, and the commentary by Hall was like Wogan at Eurovision...it made the show.
