Got a request for us more world experienced ( Hate saying older ) people.

I'm a 70's kid ( 73 ) and my real first experience of our club was the Euro win.
Not the game but the celebrations in Nottingham. I've got stories.

My real love fo four club was during the Clough relegation season. I liked our club but I became a fan ( Fanatic ) that season.

I've experienced some wonderful fan noise home and away.
Anfield in the 80's was incredible because objectively they were the best fans I had witnessed up until 2 years ago. And yes I don't like Liverpool!!!
Our win at Wembley - I've never heard a louder sound at a football game but the sound levels at our games from about the 4th week in to SC tenure have just got f***ing louder and louder. Admittedly currently living in Wales ( Cardiff ) I dont get the week to week experience.

I just really want to know for those who are older than me, in their mid to late 50's and 60's and 70's, 80's: is this the loudest our club has been?
My dad is 76 and started going to forest around 1975 he went to both European finals and all the cup finals around that time and he regularly says that the last few seasons have been the best he remembers both atmosphere wise and genral feeling in fact he said it on radio Nottingham outside Wembley as for the playoff final as me him and my son got interviewed by Mark dennison as it was 3 generations of fans and yes that noise on the final whistle at Wembley still makes my spine tingle.
Up till that game my favourite memories were around 88/89 the brian rice fa cup game at Highbury and those sort of times and the Luton littlewoods cup final

90 minutes and a dull game but it managed to erase too many years of hurt for me. It's a funny game

The game was horrendous and I missed the goal getting my son a drink before the halftime rush but got to admit I was finding it very hard not to cry at the end and for the few days later listening back to the radio Nottingham Post match stuff it was just a massive realise of years of nothingness for everyone there

Bin VAR!
Arsenal topped psycho as manager, beating liverpoool, Wembley, Shef u play off, bin dippers in the cup - the lot. You just lost yourself in it, every stand trying to be louder than the others, nobody was quiet. 27,000 people all wanting the same thing and willing the team on. I’m not sure it can / will ever be beat such was the outpouring of energy. It was 18 months of battling, every match having something on it that built up to that 90 minutes.

That video after the equaliser against city is absolutely outstanding if anyone has it to hand to post

I agree there was so much noise in that ground and when Taiwo scored the roof came off.
I saw an arsenal you tuber saying he's never heard noise like it in 40 years

The loudest noise I remember of those back in Cloughie's day... (in my opinion) was the night we beat the Scousers in the European Cup.

One of the best nights of my life supporting Forest.

I’d say about after Christmas in the Championship promotion season… you could definitely feel it at the City Ground, it was a growing feeling of excitement and a significant change in players belief, fighting for everything, the extra edge of energy really made a difference.

Having a full team who are all giving it everything they can was something we hadn't had after years of shysters in our team.
The fans and team are on the same page in that way and we definitely helped them along this journey and they have said it in interviews

That and the Cologne first leg (once it got dark and we started playing at 2-0 down). The Cologne game was possibly the best game I’ve ever seen and Colin Barrett’s goal against Liverpool was definitely the single greatest moment for me since I first saw Forest as a 4-year-old in the 1967/68 season.

The crowd was certainly loud in both those games; most of the ground only really joined in Come On You Reds but it kept on being repeated time after time. The Liverpool game was amazing at the end - 3,000 away fans chanting “One goal’s not enough, tra la la la la”, only for 35,000 to drown them out with “Two goals are enough!” after Barrett’s goal.

I can’t often get a ticket these days, but I reckon that at its best the atmosphere over the last couple of years has been at least as good as it was on those two occasion.

Sadly the likes of Wolverine and all those Tw@ts on social media, haven't got the courage or the brains to visit this forum.
Id be amazed if they dont visit, some posts recently have the smell of the "truth tellers, realists and visionaries" they collect on there

I dunno mate, I'm starting to think Wolverine posts pretty regularly. Either that or one of his Sheeple mates.
I've not actually seen his videos or his annoying face pop up anywhere recently at one point it was f***ing constant hopefully he's getting bored of it or he's not making any money from it maybe he's had to get a real f***ing job or gone back to making boring videos about fifa
