George cooney
Viv Anderson
He seemed to hit on a formula late last season,I hope he can stick to this or slightly improve. The tactics and at the beginning of the season was in my view a tad naïve.
SC: "you have to respect the league", "little room for any error, "show ambition to build and improve", "we need more" (players), " massive motivation to succeed ", "main factor is to strengthen the the team and the squad", "a bit more normal this year", "players will come in and leave as well", "concentrate on my work", "we're loving life in the PL", "have belief in achieving", "we have work to do" , "we'll be ready for it", "there's a lot that goes into it" (infrastructure), "so much potential here", "you have the have the ambition to do better".
-and he’s a canny ladHe spoke very well just now, as always. My main takeaways are:
- We have a tough start to the season, but that's the PL
- He's aiming to better last season's position, but staying up is the main goal
- There's lots of work going on at the stadium
- We need to make more signings, and can discuss the main goals for the season once the window is over

It's what sets him apart from most managers in the modern game, they have become so stubborn. I remember Warburton being the worst for it, the worse things got he would just double down and basically call people stupid that said you should change something. One thing Cooper has proved is that he is a fighter and will change things - hopefully we can get a few more players in to make this season a bit less stressful
What a nothing article. They've already agreed to replace Lopetegui with Gary O'Neill.Has admirers at Wolves apparently. Wow that's an attractive proposition.
Talk Sport is woeful-the presenters are clueless, to the point where it’s embarrassing the lack of knowledge about clubs other than big 6. The phone ins and topic, generally relate to the big 6 and are just show horned on’ next is Man Utd lack of transfer activity’ so they are going to talk about nothing!! Probably get pelters for this but if he is on I find Simon Jordan more interesting-can be an arse but least he has an opinion, challenges, not afraid to stick his neck out, particularly on issues such as boxing etc.
More chance Lopetegui has admires here.Has admirers at Wolves apparently. Wow that's an attractive proposition.
Unless he's a secret Slade superfan I imagine the attraction of going to work for a club depleted of its best players, with no prospect of replacing them and at the same time living and working in f***ing Wolverhampton is not on his or any other managers bucket lists.Has admirers at Wolves apparently. Wow that's an attractive proposition.

Aye it might allow Steve more time to pursue his other interestsHas admirers at Wolves apparently. Wow that's an attractive proposition.
A manager who walked from a club because the board weren't funding squad development.... wolves have no chanceHas admirers at Wolves apparently. Wow that's an attractive proposition.
Having both lived and worked in Wolverhampton I can only concur.Unless he's a secret Slade superfan I imagine the attraction of going to work for a club depleted of its best players, with no prospect of replacing them and at the same time living and working in f***ing Wolverhampton is not on his or any other managers bucket lists.
