SORT THE BLOODY WATER OUT FOREST

FAO Tom Cartledge, Chairman.

Welcome. Good luck.

There is, regularly now, no water in the Upper Trent End toilets at and after kick-off.

It's not once, now, it's every game.

It's simply not acceptable in 2023, especially in a Premier League stadium.

No water in the toilets suggests no water in the catering areas which would interest EHO.

I hope this can be sorted before the next home game.

I can't speak for other areas of the ground but I'm sure inhabitants of other stands with critical hygiene issues will chip in below.

Thanks.
Flaggers, on behalf of.

No water in Lower Trent End at HT. A continuation of last season. Total disgrace.

I mailed the club on this recently along with another issue.

Got a reply that can only be described as an elongated apology with no firm timescale as to when they’ll have it sorted.

It’s unhygienic and unacceptable.

Edit: I’d like to think this is the sort of the issue the trust would pick up and raise very firmly with the club. It needs sorting and sorting quick.

I love that you were so personally incensed by this, Flag, that you stickied it. :ROFLMAO:

And this is why it's been stickied - so that the club has a chance of seeing it and maybe dealing with it.

The Trust don't really care unless its about raising their own profile.

Don't agree with you. The Trust do work behind the scenes that we don't always hear about. I raised the issue of Forest fans being held back rather then the Sheff U scum the other Friday and received an excellent response including the letter from the Police. The Trust have to work closely with the Club and they can't go in and bang on the table. they had an excellent relationship with our previous Chairman and their interview with Randall is there for all to see.

Why not?

That is the major criticism of them, that they are not proactive enough in pulling the club up on issues of importance (like my learned colleague Flaggers‘ health-and-safety issue around running water in the toilets).

The inference seems to be that they are afraid of upsetting the club, and thus risking losing their privileged access (access that nobody else seems to have, and as such, it is not unreasonable that they make better use of it, perhaps?)

That maybe a controversial or perhaps unkind take, but that is something that’s been suggested, more than once.

Paper towels run out way before kick off as well. Can't be that hard to install a few hand dryers surely.

You'd like to think so but it would be a challenge to put them somewhere that wouldn't exacerbate the log jams.

After I’ve touched my dirty seat I piss on my hands to clean them.

I piss on other people's hands who've finished next to me and forgotten to do their own.
