Snatchday 1: Nottingham Forest Vs the PGMOL

We made an official complaint about Attwell (the referee) and Taylor (the VAR) after the Manchester United match. This was their payback, forget Luton, this was them getting revenge. The audio must be released.

The VAR at Man U was Jones. It's simply pure coincidence that a few months later this same Jones was responsible for the laughably bizarre Boly sending off.

I think Simon Hooper was the ref who inexplicably gave Liverpool the ball back leading to their goal too - but I could be wrong.

If the audio gets released to the public as it should and it does show that we were fully justified to take this all the way, I hope to hear a line of apologies from all those that jumped on our back for calling them out.

They won't of course.

Just goes to show how many officials have screwed us over this season and they wonder why NFFC have gone mental over this last and probably the worst.

Some sports, for example Cricket and Tennis, are better suited to technology because of the
natural breaks in play.
It’s clear to me that VAR doesn’t really work in football due to the often lengthy stoppages in
what is supposed to be a continually flowing game.
For me,goal line technology is a bonus but I’m afraid VAR needs removing (especially if
it can’t identify obvious errors as was the case in Sunday).
I’m sure 90% of fans would like to see it gone.
Does your 90% reflect fans on the terraces or couch potatoes sat in front of the idiots' lantern?
As a terrace-based fan, and based on the other terrace-based fans I have canvassed I would say 98.5% want VAR removed from the game.
I couldn't give a figure for the couch potatoes who never go to a real live game, but I suspect they would mainly be in favour of keeping VAR as it gives them chance to either vent their spleen at the TV screen while the VAR check is ongoing, or go to fetch another bag of crisps/bottle of lager.

Ok I've just put the game on and the exact quote from the commentator is

"Well the VAR has already looked at it and already decided for the third time today in Ashley Young's favour"

The time elapsed from the moment CHO was tackled to the moment the commentator quoted the above was 37 seconds.
Therefore confirming that he overheard the conversation (which he's officially privy to) between Taylor and Attwell, and clearly contradicting the PGMOL line.......

Perhaps the audio consists of the sound of Atwell snoring.

Or laughing.

This is turning out to be the most entertaining part of the season so far 😆

I hope we go full on Fawzz-batshit on Twitter with any findings now :ROFLMAO:
Absolutely without doubt the most entertaining part of this season and yep we have started so let's go totally crackers

We know what was said you have until kick off Sunday to release the audio to the public or we will play it at the city ground 5 mins before kick off

That would be far better than any football seen at the city ground for years 🤣🤣

My 90% figure was based on fans that actually attend games,Captain-as you say,it’s
probably nearer 98% in reality.

Be a good way to create a hostile atmosphere.

I would forgive all of the shit Marinakis has got wrong if after the PGMOL respond to our request saying no audio exists the club Tweeted them back with:

"OK Spiderman"
I'd give him freedom of the city if we just get a tweet from Marinakis retweeting the no audio post which just says

"Fucjin G Wot Karate"

Been far more entertaining than some of the football we've played.

I am still unclear why PGMOL doesn't want any audio in the public sphere (only Liverpool's was released because it was a communication error, apparently). This feels like an opportunity for them to help the public understand their processes - so their dragging this on appears a missed opportunity to me. Just a few weeks ago Webb said he meets with clubs/managers for this very purpose, sometimes bringing the ref into said conversation.

They probably have edited the audio and know the club probably won't have anyone employed who could tell with certainty. But you give it to the internet and they'll have it worked it out in a day.
