Does your 90% reflect fans on the terraces or couch potatoes sat in front of the idiots' lantern?
As a terrace-based fan, and based on the other terrace-based fans I have canvassed I would say 98.5% want VAR removed from the game.
I couldn't give a figure for the couch potatoes who never go to a real live game, but I suspect they would mainly be in favour of keeping VAR as it gives them chance to either vent their spleen at the TV screen while the VAR check is ongoing, or go to fetch another bag of crisps/bottle of lager.

I am still unclear why PGMOL doesn't want any audio in the public sphere (only Liverpool's was released because it was a communication error, apparently). This feels like an opportunity for them to help the public understand their processes - so their dragging this on appears a missed opportunity to me. Just a few weeks ago Webb said he meets with clubs/managers for this very purpose, sometimes bringing the ref into said conversation.
