Snatchday 1: Nottingham Forest Vs the PGMOL

It tizwas it is
As Graeme Souness intimated earlier, referees have always favoured the so called 'big clubs'

The pundits (most of who are effectively cheerleaders for these clubs) know this and obviously want it to continue.

With the introduction of VAR, 'clear and obvious' has been initiated to allow refs to carry on 'subjectively' favouring the big clubs.

But VAR has exposed the bias. People can actually see it with their own eyes.

It's corrupt. And it needs to end.
This, Refs have always been incompetent, but they only had one view. They bring in VAR to make decisions more accurate so there can be little debate. They then use the make all VAR decisions subject to the nebulous term "clear and obvious" And it gives them the out for every refereeing howler. Ref gives penalty to team A with minimal contact, "not a clear and obvious error". Ref doesn't give penalty to Team B for minimal contact "not a clear and obvious error" It's literally made the accurate technology pointless that the same decision one week is a penalty and the next week it isn't.

I wouldn't bet against all of this landing at the doorstep of SkySports.
Imagine how much tv revenue they would lose if there was nothing to play for at the top or bottom of the league for the last few weeks of the season. It would suit them for it to be tight right to the end.
Or how many more £millions would they gain from a City v United FA cup final than a City v Coventry final?
Just a theory but it really wouldn't shock me in the slightest.

I still think the initial tweet was ill advised and stupid but if we're going to burn down* the PL, the PGMOL, VAR, crap officials, Sky, Gary Neville and the rest then I'm here for it, I'm all in.

Can we do UEFA, FIFA, PSR and the Tories as well while we're at it?

* Figuratively of course, for the benefit of the legal types I would never condone the actual burning down of anything! 😂

Isn't the final on ITV so SS wouldn't actually make anything?

You surely can't be expecting sensible comments on twitter or whatever it's called now. I looked a that about a year ago. Gave up after a month, Facebook is worse and ill admit politics on you tube is not much better. Tomorrow on there won't be worth bothering with as the flag shaggers will be out in force.
