Snatchday 1: Nottingham Forest Vs the PGMOL

"You can't sign all those players"

"You can't appeal"

"You can't tweet that"

Who says you bunch of pricks...

I prefer me and mine to come out fighting.

The tweet will gain f*** all but at least it shows more bollocks than accepting another apology from the PMGOL

Signing all those players and appealing a decision based on politically-driven half-baked legal wrangling gave us a competitive advantage.

This tweet does not. It's not coming out fighting, it's moaning on the internet.

Omg... was Omar Marinakis all along?

It's corruption. Not in the traditional sense that money is changing hands to fix games, but because there is a general acceptance that certain clubs will get decisions that other clubs will not get, And nobody at the EPL / PGMOL or Sky Sports is bothered enough to do anything about it because for the most part, the right teams get the right result.

Put a Man City supporting ref on VAR duty if Liverpool need a win for the title? No, I don't think so.

I’ve come full circle on that tweet, initially I thought it was embarrassing but actually f*** them. They are inept to the point that it looks like corruption. Nothing ever gets done about it and they are protected and no one can say a word about it.

Also f*** Gary Neville busy Manc gobshite

I'm honestly glad we've called it out. Don't get me wrong, f*** all will likely come of it but we can't let this slide anymore.

It is public knowledge that Stuart Attwell is a Luton fan. Him being on VAR for this game is a clear conflict of interest and a scandal in of itself.

He then not only refused to intervene when the referee missed three penalties for Forest (two of which were absolutely stone wall), VAR cleared each incident suspiciously quickly.

It's true we've had ridiculously bad luck over the course of the season with refs and some absolutely inexplicable decisions have gone against us - I'd stop short of shouting conspiracy overall (though it's very, very peculiar to say the least) - but today's situation is different.

Something very untoward was allowed to take place and the integrity of the competition has clearly been brought into question.

I finally listened to the entire after match commentary with Neville, Carragher and Saha, and the prick Neville genuinely believes that managers voices are the most potent way call out bad referees, but we've had over a deade of managers criticising refereeing decisions and nothing has changed. We are still talking about it. We are still dealing with truly baffling decisions. He sounded a complete arse.

The tweet is stupid and borderline suicidal. We won't win this fight or achieve anything of note. We'll get a fine, more lambasting from "respectable" shills pundits and barely a throw in given our way the rest of the season. However, I think everything it is insinuating is correct.

Exactly good on Saha for saying what can clubs do when it happens over and over again and nothing gets done

We won't no but someone at the club snapped today and told anyone interviewed to push the same narrative be interesting to see what does actually happen I'd like them to demand the audio

Firstly, if you're going to take the immensely serious steps of accusing a VAR of bias and of intimating that you are planning to sue PGMOL, you don't do it on f----ing Twitter. You take a deep breath, consult your lawyers and issue a carefully worded and considered statement tomorrow. That's just basic professional conduct. Twitter is the equivalent of a shout in the street -- no serious organisation in any field would use it to make really important and legally sensitive statements.
Second, only one thing actually matters in this shitshow of a season, which is somehow staying up. Literally nothing else is of any import for the future of the club right now. That task requires concentration, discipline, and a ruthless focus on results. NES has already said (very unwisely in my view) that the points deduction is distracting the players. What do we think these histrionics will do?
Hearts are ruling heads and that's a recipe for relegation.

The tweet whilst badly worded and petty has done the trick of gaining an audience to our season long plight.

It won't change the outcome of this game, but it might influence some decision makers on Wednesday to give us back some points that way instead, and that could be the difference between staying up and going down.

Why on Earth would it?

PSR regulations have nothing whatsoever to do with refereeing decisions

I really hope you're right, but I think it's more likely to have the opposite effect. We've put a huge target on our backs and I fully expect these bastards to take revenge on us for our effrontery. I don't think we'll get points back but I do think that in a crucial game (maybe on the last day against Burnley), a vital decision will go against us. The more outrageous the better -- it will be a warning to other "small clubs" to keep their mouths shut and play nice.

Not saying they are.

But Forest's thinly veiled threat to involve legal action might spur the PL to lean on the FFP panel to give us some points back... On the basis we agree to not follow through with our threats and open up what could be a very late can of worms for the PL.

If Forest requested a change due to a Luton fan on VAR surely a change should have happened, otherwise the screaming of corruption will rear its ugly head, I remember a time we were admired worldwide for not been corrupt , the game is governed by big money.

Wherever there is power, greed, and money, there is corruption. When corruption is the priority, honesty becomes evil.

As for Neville and Calagher they wouldn't know what it is like as they were playing for protected teams and gobbed of at refs all the time our players didn't.

Also a possibility.

Depends how bullish the PL are about holding off the incoming independent regulator.

Absolutely spot on.

I'm glad we're not rolling over and just accepting it, but I think we could have gone about it in a much better way too.
