Should be a fan-led revolt over Neville's gang comments and work to get him ousted.
If ai was a Neville's Lawyer I'd just search this forum and social media for 5 years of fans lauding Marinakis for being a Greek Tony Soprano and burning down bakeries.

Greek Tony Soprano is apt. Like Tony EM alienates all the good people around himself albeit without the murder (Cooper, Murphy etc etc) and believes he can do no wrong, also likes an outburst.

So EM to get whacked unceremoniously in a diner sometime soon and we'll be left with the son.

Poor MacInnes in the Guardian joining a long list of snidey journos having a sly dig at Forest. References Forest's particularly combative approach to refereeing.

Backs all this up beause "statistics shared by the Premier League’s chief football officer, Tony Scholes, standards have never been higher. “Before VAR 82% of the decisions made were deemed to be correct...In the season so far, that figure is 96%.””

Obviously no attempt to check if this is true or even explain how they came to such a laughable conclusion.

Also no attempt to understand Forest's situation beyond referencing the Everton game and the panels findings. Not even a mention of Tierney or Jones' cock ups, never mind all those incidents that have affected us all season. Don't worry its ok to get one obvious VAR decision totally wrong unless it happens to be against Liverpool.

History being rewritten in front of our very eyes by a talentless hack.

It's a false statistic because it doesn't include any of the incidents that VAR don't refer

From what I've read, the data consider all major incidents in a game including those that var check automatically.

For example, there were 17 instances where VAR didn't review or intervene when the KMI panel thought it should have done.

I haven't found the KMI source data, if anyone else has it would be interesting to see it.

Rubics

Bin VAR!
The standards have never been higher line keeps getting peddled around to justify VAR. Jim White bit the head off somebody the other day on talkshite, just kept shouting over him saying the stats don’t lie, standards have never been higher due to VAR.
Either the stats are bollox or I’m off to specsavers!

Yes but fans can say what they want amongst themselves
‘Pub talk’ is JC and Neville called it.

You say it officially or on the telly and it is libellous - no different to why Neco and Nuno are being charged.
The EPL should be charging Neville for his comments about our standup citizen and owner who contributes so much to the Notts ecomony
Alternatively he can leave it a few months and then have him taken out - the Manc gobshite

As the refs and VAR are virtually always correct (you only have to listen to another ref tell you that such as the head of PGMOL or Dermot Gallagher) I'm not surprised it's as high as 96%. Bit like Putin's 're-election' it's a forgone conclusion.
