Good pair of goals tonight and some real confidence flowing through him by the end, but that celebration and subsequent booking would appall me if I were a manager. If he misses a crucial game thanks to some little joke he has to reference...

I love that, moaning about a booking, is more important than 2 goals that won us a football match

Brilliant.

Took his 2 goals well. Some lovely touches around the box to link up play. He is very slow at chasing the ball down though. Never gets to through balls. I reckon I could beat him in a race. But his impact was great tonight. Hit the ball well going for a third and hopefully has some confidence to go out and get some more goals.

From the second he came on, we looked far better going forward.

In 19 league appearances this season, Cox has 7 goals and 3 assists I think?

He currently has a record of scoring a goal every 2.7 games

If you include his assists, it means he has a record of producing a goal every 1.9 games.

Compare his movement and positioning to Halford's in the first. Halford was not mobile enough, was poor in the air and his first touch and control are just laughable when you compare to the way Abdoun was plucking the ball out of the air.

Abdoun's control is sublime though. Technically very gifted.

He's been wearing that under his top for the past 10 games waiting to get it out.

Just kidding Coxy, I still think you're great.

He was very unlucky also when he went at full stretch at one point, thought he was going to get a toe poke in. Some of the time he "could've" chased the ball down, he was also looking around constantly at who was where, and (IMO) likely outcomes, then positioning himself accordingly as to how he thought it was going to drop. Didn't always work but his off the ball running tonight was very good, and as a whole he seemed to have more vim tonight than recently. Well deserved 2, unlucky not to have 3.

What was wrote under his shirt?
Didn't see the exact wording but wasn't it something to do with the stick he has been geting on twitter about shares trading?

Something about stock markets
Shouldn't really be encouraging young kids to gamble.

I wonder what sponsorship deal the football league has
surely the FA wouldn't be irresponsible enough to encourage any impressionable fool to gamble

Also... Thisv
Frigging hell we were sponsored by bet victor not so long ago - the 11 on the pitch were all encouraging gambling

Yes Simon Cox did great tonight Hulk. A great comeback and a fantastic 3 points BUT another stupid booking that *should* be avoided FFS.

His grandad - ok but his stockbroker pal - no way!
