Made Cooper's decision to put one of the new signings in the team a lot easier? Can't find any further details apart from he's gone back to the club. I wonder what he's done?

Modern game is full of injuries.Injuries are no problem now we have a massive squad bristling with talent.
Yep, so 2 or 3 from:Luckily we're pretty well stocked in that area and whilst nobody wants any player to be out injured, this might force Cooper into a selection he wouldn't have made and it could open the door for someone else to get a good run in the team.

Back in our day Robbie and co would go a whole season without getting injured.
Some bogger gets injured every week nowadays.
Modern football… Bah!
Ah yes, don't let reality get in the way of some quality reminiscence! In 79/80 Francis was injured. We were so low on forwards, as Woodock had gone to Germany, that we had to loan Charlie George, although he played like he was injured in the handful of matches he participated in.
Didn't Colin Barret get injured the season before, which pretty much ended his career?
Soh could hopefully make it 'till halftime and it still leaves us options.Yep, so 2 or 3 from:
Worrall
Bade
Boly
Biancone
Cook
Mbe Soh
Niakhate (Maybe)
I think he's been solid other than the Bournemouth f*** up.Blessing if we're honest.
He hasnt been great & Coopers loyalty is now taken out the equation.
Charlie George yer say ?In 79/80 Francis was injured. We were so low on forwards, as Woodock had gone to Germany, that we had to loan Charlie George, although he played like he was injured in the handful of matches he participated in.

That’s the modern game for yer MorpethI've never been injured in a warm up in my life.
Having said that, I never did a warm up and was injured during games for most of my twenties and thirties.
George did pick-up a European Super Cup-winner's medal for his efforts whilst he was here though. In 79/80 Francis was injured. Aye Frank, I think he scored the winner if my memory serves me correct.George did pick-up a European Super Cup-winner's medal for his efforts whilst he was here though.
I agree with you however, as he was underwhelming on the whole.
You recall correctly Gary. He netted the only goal in the first-leg at the CG.Aye Frank, I think he scored the winner if my memory serves me correct.
Nice one Frank, I’d forgotten that Kenneth had netted in the away leg. One of my favourite players of that era was Burnsie, along with Bomber. You recall correctly Gary. He netted the only goal in the first-leg at the CG.
Burnsy scored the equaliser at the Nou Camp to secure the trophy.
Unusually Gary, for that 2nd-leg Bomber made way for Bowles to start - featuring in a front-5 of:Nice one Frank, I’d forgotten that Kenneth had netted in the away leg. One of my favourite players of that era was Burnsie, along with Bomber.
As good as Stan was in his pomp, and he was bloody good too…I’d much prefer Bomber and his work rate in my Forest team any day of the week.Unusually Gary, for that 2nd-leg Bomber made way for Bowles to start - featuring in a front-5 of:
