Can't find any further details apart from he's gone back to the club. I wonder what he's done?
Made Cooper's decision to put one of the new signings in the team a lot easier?

One less gobshite...
Is he up to his eye balls in yellow cards?

In 79/80 Francis was injured. We were so low on forwards, as Woodock had gone to Germany, that we had to loan Charlie George, although he played like he was injured in the handful of matches he participated in.

Didn't Colin Barret get injured the season before, which pretty much ended his career?

Luckily we're pretty well stocked in that area and whilst nobody wants any player to be out injured, this might force Cooper into a selection he wouldn't have made and it could open the door for someone else to get a good run in the team.

Yep, so 2 or 3 from:

Worrall
Bade
Boly
Biancone
Cook
Mbe Soh
Niakhate (Maybe)

Modern game is full of injuries.
Back in our day Robbie and co would go a whole season without getting injured.
Some bogger gets injured every week nowadays.
Modern football… Bah!

Ah yes, don't let reality get in the way of some quality reminiscence!

As some have said, it might allow Coops to bring in a new face. We haven't seen Bade yet, does he exist?

Or maybe Niakhate could be fit?

Or we go to a back four out of necessity?

Blessing if we're honest.

He hasnt been great & Coopers loyalty is now taken out the equation.
I think he's been solid other than the Bournemouth f*** up.

With the amount of defenders we have however, his absence can't be used as an excuse going forward unless we've recruited poorly in that area.

George did pick-up a European Super Cup-winner's medal for his efforts whilst he was here though.

I agree with you however, as he was underwhelming on the whole.
