So, how has he been? Anywhere remotely close to the first team squad? All honesty, no rose glasses just how's he been? Don't get to watch the academy so much these days so any updates would be grand.

Early in the season Eastick said Reira needed to adapt to the British game. They were trying to knock all that fancy stuff out of his game... you know, like passing the ball. ;)

Bet he doesn't kick it as far as the other defenders hence why he was down the pecking order.

Wasn't he captain of Barcelona's youth side? He must be fairly promising based on that alone, even though they didn't keep him on.

Hopefully he gets onto the first team bench next season once Lascelles' place is vacated, whilst still starting for the u21s.

He has captained every side he has played in. Barca Juvenile A, B & C. I believe he has captained our under-21 team a few times as well, so he must be a pretty good leader.

If he doesn't get near the first team this year I would send him out on loan - at the end of the day he is not going to get near our first team with the depth we have at center back. We have a £5m defender that can't even get a game.
