Hey guys, sorry to post this here and if im overreacting, then feel free to mock me for being a massive Girl later, but does anyone know how to get in contact with Rob Terrace? ive known him for a while through Twitter and other online mediums, but dont know him personally, hes been pretty depressed on twitter recently and today posted this:

Never, ever feel like a prat for being worried for someones safety or mental health. I've lost 2 friends to suicide in the last 6 weeks - both under 25, both bright lads with excellent futures. I never, ever want to see a parent bury their child ever again.

I hope he's safe - I'll ask around to see if I have anyone on twitter that can help.

Some do, some don't. Some announce on twitter as a plea for help, some announce on twitter to give themselves no way back from it to make sure they go through with it.

And to add, there is absolutely nothing wrong in looking out for the welfare of others. A well timed word or kind thought goes a long way.

Glad you are ok Rob , We have met a couple a times once at Chris Cohen's comeback match and the other week at Hull away in the cup and it's always been a pleasure even if you don't share my love of Birdwatching hope you get sorted yours sincerely Lard.

I find it deeply moving and encouraging how people on Twitter and on a forum like this show concern and interest in the welfare of someone that they don’t even know. It renews ones faith in human nature.

If its strangers you wanna talk it out with get on here, post and folk will talk to you....whether its Danny Foxs right foot or the meaning of life it doesnt matter... folk are here to help.

Some of the advice and help ive seen demonstrated by the strangers on here over the years warms the cockles.

Just remember that for as long as you remember your LTLF log in details... you can never be alone.

I know 2 guys that have taken their own lives in the last 12 months. They were the last people you'd expect to be suffering from mental health issues. Both outgoing and always cheery characters.

Glad the guy in this thread is safe.

If there is one thing I’ve learned about depression is the importance of sharing how you feel.

It doesn’t have to be a family member or a doctor. In fact, talking things through with a stranger is often easier as there are fewer judgments and emotions involved.

Just voicing your feelings will help to relieve the stress and give you some comfort.

LTLF may not have the solution to every issue but you aren’t alone and it’s true that a problem shared bla bla bla. Even putting your fears and feelings into words may help you to see things differently.
