Bloody hell Sangare. Aerial pass!

What’s happened to last year’s version?

Anderson’s looked really tidy on the ball so far. Lovely combination of great close control and aggression/power whilst driving with the ball, really hard to deal with. You can tell he’s intelligent with his movement too - finding pockets of space and linking up nicely with the other forwards.

Does seem to lack a bit of pace, but impressed by what I’ve seen so far.

Really happy for Richards

Thought Abbott looked really good too, seemed like an experienced pro when against their attackers, held them off easily and seemed very strong for someone so young

Does anyone know matt turner's back story how can anyone on a football pitch look as bad as he does with a ball at his feet

I don’t think he even started playing Football till he was 14, can’t imagine that helps.

I reckon he will be back in the MLS later in the year anyway so he won’t be our problem.

Yeah I know it just absolutely baffles me how he ended up at arsenal then us genuinely never seen anyone on a football pitch look so uneasy with his feet it's mental that training video earlier this week was embarrassingly cringy watching his bit

I like what I see so far. Everybody seems to want to get involved and have loads of energy. The pressing was really good I thought.

Way too many simple defensive mistakes in this game.

A better team would have put away 3 or 4.

Maybe its just the heat and and tiredness though no need to panic.

But with global warming the heat will be a constant factor.

The heat and the flies...

And those jungle drums...pounding, pounding...

Sorry, got a bit carried away. 29 degrees and Gedling don't really go together.

Anderson looks a hell of a player. Tenacious, always looking to drive forward but with real composure. He's gonna be a fan favourite I can tell already.

I don't think Moreira is here to make up the numbers either. He looks more than decent for the fee we paid.
