Posh Pawn

Just been watching Posh Pawn on daytime TV (don't ask) and Bill Whare's daughter was on trying to pawn his 1959 FA cup winners medal.

Valued at £3-5000.

That's very sad indeed. But people do fall on hard times and any footballer pre 1990s will not be multi millionaires, any 1950s footballer will only be rich by their experiences and not at all by money.

Captain Sinister

Senior doom Monger
Died 1995, aged 70.
Can't blame the daughter for preferring £3k - £5k cash.
After all the medal relates to a game more than 50 years ago, and she will have other mementos of her father.
