Pitch Invasion..

I'm currently about 2100 miles away as the crow flies (good effort, Mr. Crow), it's the other half's birthday Saturday and we've made reservations for 8pm as I thought the football times hadn't changed on my calendar.

So I'll get about 30 minutes of the first half and doubt I'll be allowed to stream it on my phone during dinner. I better get a blow job out of this but I doubt I'll be anywhere near the pitch or a TV when we win.

Just in case anyone is in any doubt…..from the OS

Ahead of our final home game of the season, Nottingham Forest and the Premier League wish to remind supporters that it is against the law to enter the pitch at any time.

Pitch Incursion LFPTG6[26].jpg

The Reds have received incredible support both home and away this season as Steve Cooper's side look to secure their Premier League status in their first season back in the top-flight in 23 years.
The City Ground has played host to some magnificent occasions, including wins over Liverpool, Leeds United, Leicester City and Brighton and Hove Albion.
Ahead of the final home game of the season against Arsenal on Saturday, supporters are reminded that is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time.
Supporters entering the pitch at any time will be banned.
Whilst endangering players, staff and fellow supporters, recent pitch incursions have also brought football bans, police prosecution and criminal records, as well as club penalties.
We ask fans to continue showing their magnificent support from the stands and help us to protect each other, our Club and the game.
Please respect this occasion and the wish of the players to thank you all for your support this season. The lap of appreciation will not be possible if there is a pitch incursion, so please respect your fellow fans and the players and keep off the pitch.

I just don't get why there'd even be a pitch invasion! Yes we may win but that may still not yet secure safety with Leeds playing Sunday!

Would be just our luck.

Safe from a win, but the EPL give is an immediate 3pt penalty for an invasion.

I don't get why anyone wants to go on anyway, at least not anyone over 12 years old. It'd be just our luck to secure safety then get docked points because some coked up nutter decides to go and smash into Arteta.

He got 24 months this time last year, should be out around now with good behaviour. The irony if we go down on the day he comes out

Maybe if we stick to only stamping on him if he's prone on the ground then we'll escape any sanctions.

I have always wanted to be involved in a pitch invasion. I think it’s usually a joyous thing and people do it to celebrate. However nowadays some footy fans just ruin it. Last year when sharp got headbutted that was grim. So unfortunately even though 99% of people are sound and want to have an outpouring of emotion we shouldn’t do it cause of the idiotic 1% which is sad.

I love football more than any other sport always will do but the fans are so much worse than other sports I like, like rugby and cricket.

Oh, it's always the 1% who ruin it for the rest.

Like trying to gather a group of people for a day out, there is always some idiot who keeps everyone on tenterhooks by being late for the bus or train or whatever.

Or terrorists or protestors who do it for idealistic reasons, but just annoy everyone else and never achieve their aims.
