Papa John's Trophy

I know that Nuno that I know that Nuno that I know
So we need to be drawn in Group G preferably
Derby, Lincoln and Notts
Group H is next best
Burton Mansfield and Donny Rovers

I’d say go group H and meet them in the next round, but Group G is a tough one for Derby to get out of

I note the competition is split North and South. As Nottingham is right in the middle, whether they are drawn in a North or South group depends on the split of the definitely N/S teams. Like King's Lynn are drawn in a Northern group in the National League because there are so many Southern teams down there.

We’re in the Northern section.

Villa are south, Wolves are north, so looks like the border is just north of Brum

We're an invited team for the North section.

The regionalised way in which the draw is made means we'll get either group F, G or H.

F would be the worst as it's more Yorkshire but it's us, Wolves u21s and Leicester u21s for the 3 groups and we're geographically the closest to them.

I was fully expecting the same as you. Was not expecting a fully open draw. Couldn’t have got any further away could we?

Yeah it doesn't make sense to me. Then I look at the southern section and Brighton are in with 3 west midlands teams while Villa go and play London teams. Bizarre.
