We are just seeing clear signs of this team building and growing aren't we. You can see what we want to evolve into but have still got the grit side to our game.

I am very happy at the minute. The new boys are improving us & not fully settled in yet.

This is how I’m seeing it. We’re changing from one style to another whilst at the same time slotting some new faces in. It’ll take time but we’re moving up a gear.

We do need to talk about Matt Turner....that can't go on much longer, 3/4/5 times he made me scream like a girl.
Think that was the game Coops uses to swap him out.

This switch in tactics will take a while for us to evolve, but it's not clicking just now. A lot of changes today compounded this, but a precious point non the less. Midfield 3 look good, just need the front 3 to get on song. Murrilo had a nervy debut, but was quality at his primary duty and defended his goal excellently. MOTM = Boly who has promoted himself from the club's 2nd best CB, to the best due to Felipe's lack of availability.

I won't bump Niahkate's thread as he isn't awful, but can he be relied upon? He's missed a lot due to injuries and when available has messed up leading to a goal a few times. I think he may just switch off at times and his amazing throws may be masking his limitations. Unpopular opinion I know, but I'm noticing a pattern emerge...

This is me every match. I shouldn’t watch football really.

I thought that we played well at the start of the first half, but lost our way a bit in the latter part of the half. Brentford started the second really well and we were struggling to get the ball but the guys at that point put in a good defensive performance. I thought the sending off was correct and that Niakhate was a bit daft with the tackle when he was already on a yellow. Once again we switched off with a freekick.
Weirdly we started to play some better football when we went down to ten and got the goal back. We had the odd chance to have a go at them but I didn't think we really looked like scoring.

Our goal ruled out for offside I couldn't tell who they were drawing the line to to be honest there were so many in the bunch.

The first of the two handballs in our area just before half time, was it Murillo or Dominguez, he had his arm up for sure but the Brentford player was so close to him he couldn't bring it down.

The second Boly 'handball' that wasn't given his arm tight to his side was a natueral position and give it cam at the side of his body and about the only place he could have put has arm would have been if he could have took his arm off and thrown it off the pitch.

I thought their goal was onside when I saw it realtime. The disappointing thing was our failure to defend a set piece again

I thought some of the players had great games particularly Dominguez and Boly amongst the starters and Gibbs-White and Toffolo in the subs.

Hopefully we can get an even better result next week but it won't be easy.

13 minutes added on was a f***ing disgrace. 7 or 8 would have been generous.

I’ve been trying to think when the last time I watched Forest in a competitive match and my heart rate was less than 150% of its maximum, Palace away but we were safe, possibly Leicester at home last season 🤣🤣.

Today I had three bongs, one acid, a spoonful of MDMA and a Xanax……in the second half I had the same 🙄

Sauce salad?
Yes but that had evaporated by the time Niakhate was sent off. We then got the bit between our teeth a little, because we seem to need adversity to get the best out of ourselves.
I had the stage set for Gibbs white to come on and win us the game!

Atmosphere was wank again but then so was the team

It was that odd nervous/not sure what to expect vibe.

A lot of new people around me back of Trent End Upper who don't make a sound. Didn't even join in Forest are Magic.

Decent point. We were lacking up top for me. Turner was very poor. Midfield has the potential to be top notch.

I reckon we do Palace.

Where was Yatesy?
Who knows, SC did say there had been a few injuries in training so maybe he and Aina was what he was on about. Or maybe they couldn't get any shorts to fit

No way Yates doesn't get in the squad if he's not injured.

Highly likely that's why he hasn't started recently either I reckon.
