Very, very fortunate today. Created the square root of f*ck all and unlike the corresponding fixture last year were lucky with key decisions.

I'll gladly take the point after being a man down but there's a lot of improvement needed.

Special shout out to Murillo who I thought was superb on his debut.

We do need to talk about Matt Turner....that can't go on much longer, 3/4/5 times he made me scream like a girl.
He doesn't like rain does he. His other slightly dodgy moments came at Old Trafford in the rain.

Doesn't bode well for an English winter. Especially as our other keeper probably saw rain once in his childhood.

Gladly take that point. We played 40+ minutes with 10 men and had to come from behind to earn it. That's actually a really good effort.

Hopefully Dominguez hamstring isn't severe, we're already a bit patchwork at the moment. And first 10 minutes after half time need reviewing. We were on the back foot immediately.

Just replaying the highlights on Sky DE, that was a superb header by Dominguez.

Maybe Turner could have done better with the Brentcelona effort as well.

Mixed feelings on that. First half hour was very good, albeit without much menace. Happy with the point. Ref was fine. No problem whatsoever with the sending off. I think he delayed because Oliver was checking to see if it was a straight red, and it was certainly borderline, though I think a second caution was fine. So, mixed bag today.

Positives---the midfield looked very good. Boly was immense. Murillo looked a bit nervy but you can see there is a player there, for certain. Toffolo and MGW looked lively when they came on.

Negatives---I thought Serge was lazy today. Turner had a few dodgy spells, particularly where he got skinned and there should have been a PK called. Not a stellar outing my him. Niakhate--both fouls were rash and can't say he looked good today, though preceding teh second caution a Murillo giveaway put him in a tough spot. Elanga was dodgy too---he's very quick but he lacks savvy.

Honestly, fortunate for a point. Really can't afford Dominguez out, really hope it isn't serious. Turner truly struggled.

Maybe not the result we wanted but sometimes games like these forge teams. That’s probably 3 games worth of acclimatisation for the new signings.

Several quality individual performances and it's heartening to see that we didn't give up after the red card and conceding straight after.
A few new faces/combinations again, it's clear how much depth we have compared to last year. Hopefully by the new year we'll be close to performing at the teams full potential.
Exciting times ahead if they aren't already here

Yep, happy to take that. 1-0 down with only 10 men is never easy position to get any points from, but we dug in and did.

We made a lot of changes, it's clear that Coops is still playing with formulas, but I'd sooner he do that now than be too cautious and being forced to do it when it doesn't suit.

Awoniyi could do with some more attacking support though. I like Elanga but I think Johnno's boots are a little bit beyond him to fill at this moment in time on today's showing. Not so much on overall contribution, but just in terms of goal threat.

Still feels like we've moved miles forward from last year. That was another mid-table result, not a relegation one IMO.

These are stupid questions, this interview needs Michael Olise.

I personally thought the yellow was harsh and that their goal was marginally off but I can see why both decisions went against us and in all honesty didn't think we'd get much out of the game so I'm happy with a point.

Brentford grew in strength with their numerical advantage but were kind enough to even up the numbers by bringing on Maupay who couldn't finish his dinner.

Yes. This is the point I made earlier. The run of games allows him to take those risks now. Otherwise, he doesn't get to see players and formations.

Oh, and seriously, how the fark did they drag that out to 105 minutes!? 15 minutes of "stoppage" time without any real stoppages!?
