Win, draw or lose, Cooper is a dead man walking in my opinion. Shouldn't be but Marinakas has clearly wanted him gone for some time. Be careful of what you wish for would be my advice but hey ho.

Regarding tonight's team this looks like a great playing on the floor set up although a lot will depend on Origi. Rumour is he doesnt work hard enough but we'll see. COYR!!

Definitely seems like the writing's on the wall for Joe, even moreso for McKenna. They are 6th and 7th choices at CB by my calculation.

Looks decent enough of paper. Apparently the 9th different centre back partnership of the season? Tough when you can never play the same bloody side, seems to be a knock or three every game.

Not sure what else Cooper can do at this point. Upto the players to fight for it.

Im quite happy with that starting eleven, Origi deserves a chance up front as Wood isnt doing the business. MGW has been below par all season so lets get wingers in their natural position.

Dominguez deserves to come back in, as does Aina so cant really grumble. It would “last roll of the dice” whichever team Cooper went with.

Come on you reds

Is there anyone who isn't doing a slot on Prime for these matches - Logan, Shearer, Stelling, Rosenthal, Stuart Pearce, Martin O'Neill, Evra, Dion Dublin, Clichy..

Jim Rosenthal??

I genuinely thought he was dead!

Like the back four and glad to have the three back in the middle who were looking like a good unit.

But I just don't understand why we would play two wingers and drop the striker who thrives on service from out wide.

I'd be pretty pissed off if I was Turner, too.
Wood thrives on Uber Eats? I thought he went round Shelvey’s for supper.

It’s early.

Brian (cat) got me up at 4:30 today…knackered.

Interesting team. He’s dropped a few poor performers there…MGW and Wood stand out.

Surely Origi can’t be worse than Wood?!

Let’s hope they play with gay abandon for Cooper, the away support and themselves.

Fancy this tonight. Although we haven't won since Brexit we haven't dropped down the table. A easy strolling win tonight and we're right back on track.

Think dropping MGW is the wrong call. He wasn’t even close to worst offender for me vs Everton. He was at least trying things. But this is where Cooper needs to earn his billing as a top man manager. Wandering in excited for Origi to prove me dead wrong…….

Have to say I like the look of the team on paper but if Cooper wasn't on his final warning would he have gone with it?

It'd be ironic if he stumbled upon a decent away formula right at the end.
