our attacking players are poor and struggles to create much as in the case with all the recent games, ie burnley, brentford, man city etc. The simple fact against palace is our defenders who created the best chance and the shots at goal tells you how poor our attacking department was, i.e murillo with that great pass to mgw , that outstanding run and shot , toffolo shots and montiel's shots while cho created no chance or no shots at goal , don't recall mgw corners/freekicks causing palace problems and wood no shots at goal.

need to improve or we will struggle to score against luton

As ever the optimist cap - i think there’s plenty to suggest what we’ve been tried to build clicked at palace. It was going to take a little while and Luton will be a great test to see if we can make our quality show under immense physical pressure at home
Luton will, as you say, be a test.
They work hard, work together, and know how to mix the rough stuff up.
I don't count it asa must win, nor even a should win.
I would class it as a must not lose.

As we saw against Sheffield United and Burnley (both residing in the bottom 3)-there are no easy games
in football,Captain.

It'll be the same as last season in that regards, we'll lose & draw games we expect to win and win games we expect to lose.
It’s always been the same,Bob-who can forget the 0-1 home reverse to struggling Brighton in 1979 (which
ended our two and a half year unbeaten home league run),similarly-our 2-1 win at Birmingham in 2012
(with 2 goals from Dexter Blackstock) was equally unexpected (given that they were going for promotion and
we were in serious jeopardy of a drop into the 3rd tier).

So it's more of a wank, wank.
Wank, wank, wank.
Wank, wank, wank, wank.
Wank,wank.

We're doing fine and are exactly where most people thought we'd be at this stage, if not higher. The new signings have made a really positive impact and as the players start to gain a greater understanding of each other and how to play together we'll only improve further. Another two weeks training together without a game should be a blessing for us and I'm expecting a strong performance and a win against Luton.

It's really not.

We'll likely lose that then beat Liverpool.

We've never done well against the clubs we're expected to beat. For as far back as I can remember.
I think we could make a statement against Luton to try and get rid of this history of being unable to play those we 'should win' (doesn't exist). I fear us pulling a Fulham or Bournemouth at home last season again

Agreed, that is the game to change all of that. To be a top 10 side we need to put them away.
