Final shout if anyone is reading this and has a spare ticket - otherwise I'm going to end up in the pubs around the ground dealing with touts.

Possibly swimming against the tide here but I would like Leicester to stay up on the basis their fans generally seem a better bunch than Leeds and, let's be honest, the rivalry just isn't there compared to when have played Derby over the years.

They are also a good template of a provincial club who came good in this modern day and age of silly money being thrown around.

The only good thing about Everton staying up is they are probably going to get a hefty points deduction next season. Luton will rival Derby for the lowest ever total of Premier League points. Can't see anyone half decent wanting to sign for either in the circumstances, which means 2 of the 3 relegation places could be pretty much decided already. But yeah, quote me on that in a years time when we are bottom and Luton or Everton are mid table.

Either way, I feel Everton will win today and the rest of it will be academic.

Sorry - I chucked an edit in but the thrust of my post remains the same.

Yes, we came good. But it was a day and age of teams that were broadly of the same standard and before Sky TV and middle-eastern money men rocked up.

Even from the mid 90s I can remember the fun and excitement of being linked with an overseas player in Four Four Two or Match magazine, then trying to find out as much as possible about him on a dial up connection from my bedroom, in between searching for b00bs.

I don't think going into administration & shafting the local community is the template to follow, neither is their 2014 breach of ffp rules which is often swept under the carpet by people eager to nosh Leicester off for winning the league

I actually don't see Luton as a guaranteed 20th place relegation team. They have a well defined way of playing; their team will have a great bond; and they will stick to the way they do things (which is basically a big, athletic group who can be hard to defend at set pieces). Of course even with all that they will be amongst the favorites to go down but talk of them challenging Derby's 11 points is well wide of the mark i suspect.

I can see them finishing above Sheffield United at the very least. Kenilworth Road won't be an easy place for teams to go.

Sadly as a financial auditor, that doesn’t quite work. But as I was taught many years ago during exams - if you can’t get your balance sheet to balance then just put the same number in anyway and you get the mark!

I should work in football.
You can always work for the SNP they need auditors
