I still reckon Palace would have gone down if they hadn't changed manager. They were plummeting to the bottom
Their fixtures were ridiculous though. Roy couldn't have timed his start date there any better.

They'd just played basically the entire top half one after another leaving him with a run of fixtures of Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, Everton, Wolves and West Ham. Bournemouth came a few weeks later then obviously us tomorrow.

Not saying Hodgson hasn't done a good job but I don't think it's as simple as Palace would've kept on dropping without the change.

I'm just outside London with no plans for tomorrow and could easily get to this - if anyone has a spare ticket they fancy selling at face value, send me a PM. Going out for a bit now but will check in later.

Hope that didn't break any forum rules.

I had a dream last night that Sam Surridge scored twice in a 2-0 win.

I had a dream last night that Niakhaté had got so good at his trebuchet throw-ins that the ball catches fire... guaranteed to cause havoc in the Palace penalty area!

I never normally wear a football shirt for anything other than doing sport. However today I decided to dig out my 96 yellow Umbro number with Hjelder on the back, for a stoll through the Leicestershire countryside ending at a rather nice pub.

I received more than a few what I can only assume were admiring glances from the other patrons, I'm sure they were tremendously pleased to know at least they'll be one club in the local area representing the region in the top flight next year 😎

I don't. Our travelling fans have been superb this season despite not having much to cheer about. They deserve to go out on a high.

Experiment post and pre-season

It’s a fair view, probably shared by most

Mine is that I enjoy seeing different players and that a non-competitive experiment isn’t the same

I’m gonna enjoy today, got an all day/nighter planned. Midday London Bridge, match, then out for the night. You might need to put me on some sort of temporary block by 3.
First stressless match of the season and got week off next week. Let the good times roll.

Trains are f**ked from Newark for anyone getting a later train. We're packed in like sardines for the 0908 which was an hour late as we were told there would be no more after.
