Stamford Bridge has never been a particularly happy hunting ground for Forest-I can only recall 3 league
wins there since 1966.Even the Brian Clough promotion winning side of 76/77 and the Championship
winners the following season came unstuck there (1 of only 3 defeats).
A point would be a good result and a win would be the best possible birthday present.

Now’s the time to buck the trend Cloughie. I reckon we’re gonna do this, Taiwo’s divine inspiration will be the 12th man… onwards and upwards fellow Redduns.

Victory is immaterial. What matters is how we mark our victories. So, Forest players, let’s have none of this dancing shenanigans we saw last night. A single Tim Henman fist-pump per person will do. Omar will be watching you so make sure, should you win, that your celebrations are decorous and respectable.

PS: only joking, Omar. It just tickled me that the first thing on your mind after a big win - a win so big you can see it from space - was how the lads celebrated.

Actually got a couple of tickets for this one so hopefully it'll be worth it. Can we end this dreadful away form? We'll we're looking better than we have for a while so I'm a bit more confident so I think we can get s point.
With our dodgy train service it'll probably be a trip to the outskirts and tube it in, just 25 stops. 😄

I don't think i've seen a side who to a man downed tools than their game against Arsenal a couple of weeks ago. It was the most unprofessional performance i can recall seeing for a few years.

Watched the extended highlights of their win against Bournemouth and it was a lucky win judging by the highlights, Chillwell is out with a hamstring. Madueke and Kante seems to be the only two actually trying along with maybe Gallagher.

Brentford was a hard hard kick to the balls, so i'll not even try to predict a win. But there is a point here to be taken.

Strengths of Chelsea - big names, scary names, they're at home

Their weaknesses - set pieces, long throws, they have no striker, they don't really have a pattern of play to score, Fat Frank Lampard is their manager.

Box midfield their face off, force them out wide and Moussas throw to cause chaos in the box could be the ticket to freedom

Indeed,Rocka-at 65,I’m officially an old fart in the eyes of Forest so that I can get a reduced price on my
season card but not in the eyes of the government to claim state pension for another year yet.
As I said,a win on Saturday would make my day (as Blakey used to say).
So Cloughie... is an Old Fart an upgrade from an Owd Bogger? 😁

I hope the team watches Everton's win at Brighton as some form of inspiration for how we could play.

Navas
Aurier Felipe Niakhate Lodi
Yates Mangala
Johnson Danilo MGW
Awoniyi

Win 5-3.

That looks remarkably similar to what we just did.

I think we should bring on Kouyate around the hour mark as Yates probably won't be able to see out the game.

Maybe go to a 5-4-1 if winning with ten mins to go as well.

I think we need to approach this match carefully and patiently. The longer we can hold it at nil-nil, the more pressure Chelsea will feel. Their self doubt is sky high right now. A similar performance to the Villa game (minus dingbat's error) and we might actually be able to get something from this.

I was at the 6-2 there in 86-87 (brilliant that was) and the 2-0 in 94.

I saw us win on the other occasion-a 3-1 win against a poor relegation bound Chelsea in 1979 (just
before our first European Cup win).
I was at that too. Lived in London at the time and went with my dad and a Chelsea supporting mate and stood in the Shed with mouth firmly shut.

We ran rings round them that day and I think it came on the back of hammering them 6-0 at the City Ground a week or so beforehand.
