Hold up. We haven’t lost in the league at home for yonks. Friday night under the lights. Crackling WFCG atmosphere. Time to stick some points on the board.

Newcastle starting to look like the Newcastle they probably should be on paper. Some decent players for sure but never a Champions League challenger in a million years

Don’t want Yates to have any set backs as he’s going to be vital in the run in but if he’s fit, even fit enough for an hour, he plays…and scores…so bring your wetsuits ‘cause the Trent will be chilly!

2-1 Forest. Late Late winner. We’re all back on the positive train to Survivalville…

Dennis (assuming Johnson is out)

PS. Let’s get behind our Captain. He’s had his downs this season but he’s our leader and he needs and deserves our support. Look how Yates has grown and developed with the love of the fans. Worrall perhaps should be on the bench if others are fit and he’s learning the hard way, on the job. Pretty scandalous he doesn’t even have a song and some of the shite that’s been fired at him in the last 24 hours is totally uncalled for

COYR!

I mean that’s what I wish we could see.
I'd go with something like that. We need to do something different, as whatever we've been doing the last couple of months clearly isn't working.

The last couple of months when we haven't lost at home last couple of months?

NOTTINGHAM FOREST v NEWCASTLE UTD.

Some of natives are getting restless, some are sharpening knives.

We are now heading into 'must win' territory.

Have Forest got the Colly Wobbles or will the City Ground 12th man help guide Forest to victory?
Looks like Brennan Johnson will miss this one... if so, where are the goals coming from?
Will Chris Wood return to the line up?
Will Dennis the Menace start?
Is Ryan Yates fit enough to start?
Will we ever see Scarpa in a red shirt ever again?
Will we ever see Super Sammy Surridge again?
Are any of our injured players likely to make the bench?
Has Danilo learned how to head a ball, thus resulting in a place in the starting eleven?
Will Cooper set out his team to attack the Geordies or will go for low press defensive?
IF Forest lose to the Geordies... will this forum melt down and disappear?
Will it be the end of the world?

Would a draw be good enough?

IF Forest win are we all gonna be happy and all play nicely together again on here.? :)
IF Forest win are we heading for Europe again?

IF Forest win... will I be spending the weekend on the sofa?
IF Geordies win... shall I sulk and ignore my wife for a week or two?🤔

Will I ever forgive NUFC and their fans for 1974?

NEVER!

COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!! (y)

I agree with that bottom line about 74

Every chance we can win this, but it's going to be a tough one. They've got the best defence in the league, and we've got the second worst.

I've got a feeling Cooper is going to try and grind out a draw here. Don't be surprised to see no recognised striker starting.

1-1 draw is my bet.

The Geordies are looking good this afternoon, currently willing 1 0 but it could easily be a lot more with the pace they have up front

Think we might see something like that, but with Ayew up top instead of Surridge and one of Freuler or Shelvey instead of Danilo.

Someone to replace Johnson too potentially. Speaking from personal experience groin injuries are not to messed around with if that's what he's got. If he's not quite right Friday and he plays he could be missing for a while.

Probably Ayew on the right then and Surridge up top.

Here's my prediction: if we stay up this year we'll see Neymar in the Garibaldi next season. Calling it now.

They could rip us to shreds if we’re not careful but they’re not invincible. Saint Maximin scares the shit out of me but hope big Serge scares him more!

Their keeper looked a bit dodgy today so need to put him under pressure from the off.

Praying for a fit BJ, and 1-0 to Forest based on hope and lucky underpants.

The Toon looked scary 1st half against Wolves - reminded me of our game there when they should and could've been out of sight by half time. Their speed and movement was frightening. If they repeat that on Friday we're in for a tough watch.
With some luck and a lot of optimism we might nick a point - more likely a Toon win unfortunately.

For some perverse reason I am suddenly looking forward to this one.
It has a real shit or bust feel about it.
And for some other perverse reason I can’t get the following lines out of my head:
“Half a league, half a league onwards,
Into the Valley of Death rode the 600.”.

Lord Lucan had a lot to answer for.
