Fantastic result and in truth we could have scored more. Just shows if you have a more positive approach to your football what can be done. That was a textbook away performance and Newcastle are very hard to beat at home.
Even with 10 men on Saturday we played positive football. I am not sure what Nuno has said to the players but they just seem to be playing with confidence.
Chris Wood - we are finally playing to his strengths - immense performance from Wood today.
Big game on Saturday hopefully a positive result and then Nuno will have 3 weeks with a FA Cup game in between to work on the training pitch prior to Brentford.
As a team as a fan base as a football club I think we needed a result like today. Really looking forward to Saturday we must make the City Ground as intimidating as possible.

After walloping such a hapless bunch of clueless goons as Newcastle it would have been just our luck to get a proper team like Arsenal or City up next. But for once we get a nice little three-point lay-up at home. Nice.

I mean, panicky as f*** at the back as per but shown committment and thrown bodies in the way to make blocks etc. And wow, MGW and Elanga on the transition with Woods played like we've not seen him play before. We could have scored 6 or 7 on the break.
Also nice to have fully fit players to bring on. Yates, Neco, Worrall, Dominguez all doing bits.
Can't wait for next Saturday, let's f***ing go at them.

I love Cooper and didn't want him gone. However, Nuno has altered a couple of things and got us playing much better in attack. Moving MGW to a central position and getting bodies around Wood is paying dividends.
Chris Wood's timing on the forward runs was perfect today - if that was Elanga he would have been offside.
Nuno has surprised me with how attacking he is. If he can have the same impact on defending we should be fine this season

A few have mentioned this, but was Cooper traumatised by early thrashings that he never considered that the primary weapon of choice for Forest could be to attack?
He now knows he’s got options available to me and the players don’t play holding back their quality. In fairness we noticed this against Bournemouth.

I think that’s our best performance since promotion, a few weeks ago we would’ve imploded after the penalty but not today.
We still need to alter the squad in January but so far Nuno is getting more out of the squad than we thought was possible.
