Yes.

Massive kudos to Wood today, folk who raised concerns about how he were being played are being proven correct, but let's not take any chances either.

There still needs to be someone who sits between Wood & Awoniyi, and ideally they can provide an option to play alongside them too.

Relying on just Wood and Awoniyi would be far too risky IMO.
Fair play Alf.

The difference in our side is enormous already. Wood and MGW used properly. A measured patience when we have the football, even deep in our own third. Our shape both with and without the ball is way better. I honestly never saw this from Chris Wood earlier, and I am uncertain any did. He was very good last game, and brilliant today. We've found the manager to take us to the next level.

Great performance, you can see them growing in confidence throughout the game… oh it’s because Newcastle have so many injuries ay media? Go f*** yourselves

I’d also love to see Forest cheat a little more often, sick of the refs proving a platform for the antics of those *****. Refs won’t protect Forest, get down and dirty then!

You reds!

I'm not sure what to do now everyone send help!

Think I'm still in my Turkey coma cos it looks to me like we've won, it was away, Wood scored 3, Worrall came on (And defended well), Montiel looked good, Elanga MGW and CHO were bloody good too.

Merry Christmas ya filthy Eddie Howe and a happy new year too!

Fantastic performance. Huge vindication for Nuno and his team selection.

Maybe we've been conditioned to be afraid of the opposition a little too much?

I think it's all about what you do in transition. Before we had no clue how to transition when we won the ball. Earlier this season it looked like we had crossed a bridge, but that bridge went away quickly. Nuno has built a new one.

I have to say, I thought our first half playing out the back would’ve been our downfall. Eventually it was tuned to look like we were doing that, making Newcastle push into us giving space for any of our attackers in the middle of the pitch.

We looked real good.

One less gobshite...
Elanga's pass for the 2nd goal was perfect.
