For a goalkeeper, Stuttgart wants to sign the current incumbent, Alexander Nübel, who is on loan from FC Bayern (where, let us face it, he won‘t get a sniff) as Nübel is highly regarded and is enjoying his time in Stuggi.
I can tell you, on Vlach, the response from the main VfB forum was hardly resounding, shall we say.

There is a clause in his contract that states it will be extended every summer by one year unless the club can prove it null and void on grounds of the club's insanity, however as wanting to get rid of Arter is rational, this in itself proves sanity and so the club cannot terminate his contract

It was obvious the Benfica fans were not on the wind up from the way they posted. They were genuinely trying to be informative. The replies they got by some on here (not all) were a bit embarrassing. Seeing as literally everything they said turned out to be true within about 10 games.

I appreciate that not all signings are going to come off, all clubs have duds and big money flops. But I think generally keepers should be easier to scout? Outfield players can be impacted by systems, tactics, confidence of other players etc -but keepers u tend to get what u see. We’ve had Benfica fans telling us exactly his faults. Dreadful error to sign one dud keeper but 2!!
