I'm not calling for his head as its a bit premature and he was dealt a crap hand to begin with. But he started positive and has regressed to some very poor selections but to be fair, there have been some abysmal referee decisions that have cost him results. All this said, WTF are his coaching staff doing ....?

They seem to be blundering around like a bunch Fcuktards.

I would expect 2 wins in the next 3 games or he should go.

Who should replace him - no one. Leave it to Steven Reid until the season has concluded.

He has the talent but my god some people need their office doors kicking off the hinges and a rocket up their arse.

We risked losing everything we have achieved over the last two years in sacking Cooper.

For me it is equally premature to be saying things like ‘needs to win two of the next three games or he goes’

I think Nuno will keep us up. Sack him and our relegation will be sealed IMO - and it would be nothing more than the owners (and a small element of our fan base - the ones who keep calling for managers to get sacked) will deserve.

I posted a good couple of months ago that these next few weeks will be as much a test of character for the fans as it will be for the team and the board. Honest, specific criticism, yes, but we need to stop scapegoating players and can this fatalism.

His sides often go on streaks whether that be unbeaten or winless. The good news is that wins come in groups, with lots of back to back wins, Hopefully Luton is the start.

18/19:
7th - 57 points - 16W 9D 13L
Won 3 in a row 3 times and also had an unbeaten run of 6 with 4 wins and 2 draws.
Strangely seemed to not perform well against the dross in the league. 2 of Huddersfield's 3 wins that season came against Wolves.
The season also Included a run of 5 losses in 6 games, 2 of those against relegated Cardiff & Huddersfield.

19/20:
7th - 59 points - 15W 14D 9L
2 unbeaten runs of 11 & 8 games, with a total of 10 wins and 9 draws.
However the season started with just 2 wins from the first 11 games, further showing evidence that his teams seem to be prone to streaks good or bad.

20/21:
13th - 45 points - 12W 9D 17L
Wolves only scored 36 league goals that season, which also included a run of 2 wins in 14 games.

I think we are currently just 1 win from 11, so hopefully we are due to turn a corner.
Guest Wolves fans on a couple of Forest podcasts were pretty much saying the same thing.

Agree. Playing the victim card doesn't suit us and serves no purpose.
I can only think the Coach is playing it to deflect attention.
We will benefit from unified positiveenergy from fans , coaching staff and players to get out of this mire.

should have finished with 10 men after Jakub Moder sunk his studs into the ankle of Neco Williams in the second half. Referee Michael Salisbury showed only a yellow card for the nasty challenge, however, with VAR Craig Pawson failing to correct his colleague’s error in judgement.

Andrew Omobamidele’s own goal made sure Brighton secured the win. It left Forest wallowing in 17th as Espirito Santo channelled his inner Mario Balotelli in the aftermath, asking ‘why always us?’ as he used his press conference to say Howard Webb and the PGMOL can shove their apologies

section from the Mail but sounds like he’s had a right go.
Good, I'm glad he has. We're being fuc.ked over by officials and Nuno's right to call it out at last.

Right to call it out?
Athletic say he's in line for punishment for his comments
And adds to the "poor me" personality that really doesn't help - other than make us feel better temporarily.
Unless it can be used to galvanise an into battle mentality. With Luton next, lets hope so.

Why shouldn't it be called out?

Having open and honest conversations is exactly how things should work. It's on a different scale but looks at all the bollocks in the world now because people are too afraid to call things out as bullshit.

It's his right to call it out, but is it right? Is it helpful?

Every other manager does it. See Klopp and Frank at the weekend. This is happening to us every game.Game changing decisions are going against us, we are not asking for preferential treatment, we’re just asking for the correct decision to be made. Nuno has probably had 6 in all his league games for us.

I understand we can't solely blame poor refereeing decisions for all the issues we're having, but it must be getting frustrating for Nuno and the players.
By my reckoning out of the 7 league losses under Nuno all but one have been by one goal (Villa wasn't great), and out of those 6 losses by 1 goal there have been potential game altering decisions in 5 of them (Arsenal being the exception).

I understand the frustration tbh, let's hope that's the last and it's more balanced for the remainder of the season, I'm still remaining positive we can pull through this.

I think a sign of strength, and thus the ability to win, is taking things on the chin and react to them as minimally as possible, whilst cracking on and not only facing the challenge, but reveling in it.

Whenever I played in a band that had a shit gig or went down lack a sack of shit to the crowd, I'd always think of Psycho and his attitude to Derby fans whilst playing at their gaff. Soak it in, embrace it, revel in it...use it to fuel yourself, and I'd try to do similar. I'd certainly up my game for the next gig, and attack it even harder.

For me, a good manager channels stuff like shit decisions right and makes warriors of his players, and the worst thing about the Brighton performance was how flat we looked after being robbed by Liverpool. We should have been out to kill and get revenge on all those against us. To suck the very essence from them and the tribes we face on the battlefield every week.

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms...”

Instead we couldn't wait to get off the pitch and play My Little Pony.

Aye. Don't recollect Psycho playing the victim card or "Poor me".
Just channel your energies into the next game. Take it out on Luton. Show them who is boss.
Never mind fans visiting the dressing room, Psycho popping in to remind players (and while he's at it supporters) what it means to represent Nottingham Forest - could help

Also sick of the club playing the victim card. Yes the refs and VAR have been shit but so many of the points we've dropped this season come from our own mistakes and mental fragility, and then there is the self inflicted FFP wound...

I've accepted we are probably going down, but it would be nice to see them actually show some bollocks and put up a fight for a change and pack it in with woe is me shit.

Agree. For every point that we might have been screwed over, we’ve given the same away through poor performance. Been a frustrating run.

I’ve seen enough fight in every game, the luck just isn’t falling our way unfortunately.
