So I think you'll find that those of us who post take-piss pics do it for most Forest folk regardless as a bit of friendly banter, if anything to endear them to us.

To be fair to Nuno, we should not take out our anger at SC's departure on him. It's not his fault and he should enjoy all the goodwill Forest fans always extend to any new manger coming in. But it's all about results with him -- there's no hinterland of affection, just the brutal business of getting points.

Our chopping and changing has always played on a back drop that as a club, no long term building plans, zero investments ..so the apathy was always evident.

But this is different, EM the club AND Steve Cooper have created a longer term impact where Nottingham Forest will have a sustained vision, that’s why 99% will get behind the new man. In recent years nothing can take away the positivity you get when walking into the ground, that’s despite the recent poor form. When Forest even get a throw in in the opposition half the crowd really got behind Forest last game, spurs man questioned that.. lol

I’ll guarantee a great reception for him. Put your reservations aside because that’s not our job.

I, for one, am a bit disappointed with the new Manager not yet demonstrating any decent musical ability - unlike his predecessor, who was a dab-hand on the acoustic guitar.

Nuno should be at least competent to bang out The Girl from Ipanema otherwise I can’t see him lasting.

We're just another soulless club now with no other identity than a bunch of journeymen managed by a nameless face. They're all interchangeable, and nothing particularly matters.

The only measurement of success now is financial and league position, and if manager X fails to deliver that, we'll get in manager Y, and neither will care about Forest or our fans. No bigger picture, no wider collective.

As mentioned before, he'll get no time from me which isn't particularly his fault and I can see that's unfair as he's a victim of poor circumstances, but that's the way it is. Nothing less than a convincing win against Bournemouth is acceptable.

This is it for me. Apparently Marinakis can’t fathom Forest fans’ adulation for Cooper because we aren’t “ambitious” enough or “winners” like him and his Olympiacos family.

So if that’s what we wants from us, that’s what I’ll be. With Cooper gone, there’s no emotional attachment to the manager left for me now, so Nuno needs to move us up the table, no ifs and no buts, no context and no nuance.

No excuses. “Winners” don’t do excuses.

So Nuno needs to get us into the top half, then into Europe, then into contention for silverware, then top 4, then into title contention. Anything less is not ambitious enough.

First time he goes 5 without a win I’ll be calling for his head. We should mob up and head down to tbe training ground all dressed in black to physically threaten and abuse the players if they put in a poor performance too.

Works in Greece so should work here too.

Get ready for 47 league titles guys. Marinakis knows what he’s doing.
