Meh. Looked gash defending when I've seen him, which is also backed up by Arsenal fans I know. Supposed to be good going forward at least. Low expectations here.

He'll immediately go up in my opinion though if I see him successfully receive a pass and then actually find a Forest shirt with it after.

Totally looked like he wasn't having flashbacks to "Cry in a minute!"

When he does the Yuri Ribeiro sprint back, we'll decide.

Wasn't hugely impressed on Saturday, but willing to give him time.

At this point I hope he has to play a large number of games to trigger the obligation to buy.

I didn't think there is an obligation; it's an option only isn't it?

Didn't have too much time Saturday but did show a glimpse of what Cooper wants from him regarding getting forward at spotted

it is good to have options now , for away games , with 3 at the back (providing felipe and niakhate is fit) , this guy might be useful as an attacking wingback with lesser emphasize on defending , if we go to 2 at the back , aina is probably preferred

Yeah I think it's both, option at £12m which becomes obligation after a certain trigger.

I hadn't heard it was ten games though.

Didn’t he have about 2 touches?

Tavares is a player that will show his worth against teams we go out and try to attack

It does feel like one of those where a few have made their minds up already & it doesn’t matter what he does on the pitch
Probably the same folk that had written T.A off after his debut v West Ham.

My general rule of thumb is that if the forum writes a player off he's usually going to turn out to be good (Yates, Awoniyi, Mangala)

And if they forum lauds a player they usually turn out to be shit (Shelvey, Williams, Freuler)

Same logic seems to extend to managers as Hughton got every excuse under the sun whilst here whereas it seemed his replacement wasn't particularly welcome upon joining us.

Basically our consensus opinion has a magical way of consistently being as wrong as it could possibly get.

Sauce salad?
Bloke looks like he won a competition to get on the pitch

That classic - one of the most overused phrases on football forums and wasn't funny the first time I heard it. Up there with 'silence is deafening' and 'lost the dressing room' for annoying phrases imo!

It wasn’t meant to be funny. He looks completely inept so far.
