Massive game for the women on Sunday.
Win and they get promoted to the 2nd tier, which is pretty huge.
Does anyone know if there's a way to watch the game on t'inernet?

That's correct. 20th May, at stadium MK.

But same day we play Arsenal at home.

So, I cant see them having a big following, sadly

I believe they will have to beat the Southern Premier League champions in a play off match to get promoted.

Looks like it will be one of Oxford, Watford or Ipswich:

Hopefully they can pull off one more big win to round off an excellent season.
Oh my mistake.

I've watched where I can and ladies seem to have really good team spirit and the ability to get through tough situations. One more game. They can do it!

So, the Women's National League South ended today with Watford taking the title.

The final will be played at Stadium MK on May 20th between Forest and Watford to see who goes up.

Last years final was shown live on the BBC website. I'm not sure if this one will be though.

Forest beat Watford 3-2 last month to win the Women's National League Cup so here is hoping for a repeat of the result on the 20th.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd looked around a few times to see if the BBC were showing it again this year and hadn't seen it. I was all set to listen on RN.

I hope they win it (Good luck ladies) It's going to be very disappointing for the loser as based on what was said on RN yesterday both the North and South winners get promotion next year.

I knew it was 1pm so didn't even notice you had it wrong. :)

I felt for them when I watched them. It's a shame they didn't win the game.

One thing that I found weird. Are their different rules that I don't know about in the women's game these days with regards to corners. The officials didn't stop it.

But then the lino was on the other side of the pitch and the ref was by the near side of the D. The ball wasn't exactly toching the quadrant was it?

I just realized that the striker of the women's team Gianna Mitchell is also the media content provider of the club. I have no idea how good a striker she is (her stats seem to indicate she is good), but she does an excellent job with the media content. And on top of all that she studies for an online master's degree (and she's quite cute). Given that she is an American and got recruited in 2022, she must be someone that Dane Murphy brought in.

Good job, Dane.

Of course I wish Nottingham Forest Women all the best.

But I have to say that watching women's football is a bit like watching our school first XI play football. Some good touches, but passes constantly going astray and everything done at half speed. And very little of the pushing and shoving when challenging for the ball found in the men's game.

You almost have to watch it as a different sport to the men’s and not compare it. It is slower with less skill but there is also less play acting and falling over at the slightest touch.
