Re: Matchday 44: Nottingham Forest vs Middlesbrough F.C.

Benalouane is, of course, suspended and Colback too.

As much as I’m looking forward to the match, it’s a non-game.

The atmosphere will be a little more than flaccid and I expect an increasing minority of vocal displeasure with a hefty lump of ‘can’t-be-arsed’.

The weather looks good though.

Heffing Psycho!

They have a defensive injury crisis to almost rival ours in December apparently. Ayala, Fry and George Friend all out.

Could be a high scoring hoof-fest.

I’ve come to the conclusion Edward, that in light of the potential direct aerial duel in prospect, the best place to watch from would be the International Space Station.

I think I might just stay in the pub & give this one a swerve

High scoring? We've had 2 shots in 2 matches

f*** good point.

I always want forest to win, but if middlesborough winning ruins derby's season maybe pants could let in a few howlers. No one would be able to tell....

Rest Pants and give Steele another game!
No one would know.
Anyway enough of this doom-mongery.
It will be a sunny afternoon.
Many will turn up thinking it is a 12:30 kick-off like Good Friday.
Many wont bother turning up at all.
Me and the Mrs will be in our seats on time, singing City Ground, oh mist rolling in from the Trent at the top of our voices.
No Col-back so Osborn 's back, at left back (nice in-line rhyming there Sinister!)
And no Benalouane, sent off once again, devoid of a brain (he keeps on doing it - poet!)
So Alex and Wague, they'll be our CB crew, unless it's Figueridooo (lI'm lovin' it)
And Lolley will eclipse, by golly, and Wague's first name is Molly, not Holly.
And will Grabban Grab one, and will we venture up the pitch a bit higher.
Shots on goal, we've not seen a whole, lot of 'em, but we'll get a win like the 3 points from Swansea we stole.
And is Cash just a flash (in the pan), or will he dash down his wing and lash
The ball into the roof of net - no is my bet, so we better get set
For long throw madness and set-piece thrills.

I expect Robinson will play LB, assuming he’s fit.

I think he and MON have fallen out and he will find it difficult to get his place back.
To my mind he is more likely to play CB in Benalouane's place.
