This looks highly unlikely, but thought I'd post it. I saw it on a rumours thread. If any truth in it though its more exciting than Lam and Vellios signings. Would be formidable alongside Britt, he has great feet, gets away from and past people with ease, he just needs someone making right runs (someone like exactly like Britt). Most likely to be a loan if happens at all. Anyway here's what was posted.

Nikola Vlašić Hajduk Split talking to Forest according to Croatian media this morning. I spotted Nottingham in the sport section and asked my friend to translate. No details just in talks.

This link is pretty interesting. I half expected us to sign a Balkan player with one of the agents supposedly involved in the takeover being Fali Ramadani, but Vlasic isn't actually represented by Ramadani's agency.

So instead I have another tenuous link! Christian Karembeu seems to be involved with Forest at the moment in an advisory role. He's also been doing ITV punditry for EURO 2016 alongside a former Hajduk Split player/manager, Slaven Bilic. Bilic is represented by Mondial Sport who also represent Nikola Vlasic.

So Karembeu says "I'm after a couple of wingers/ strikers for Forest you got any potential loanee's at West Ham?"

"No but my old club Hajduk are willing to let Vlasic go on loan for a decent fee. His agent is the same as mine so I can put you in touch."

Do you have a link to the original article? Rumours that come from overseas seem to be more reliable as just like with Lam, it would be pretty random for overseas press to pick us for a made up rumour.

Having said that, this seems very unrealistic. This guy has been linked with pretty much every top club for the last two years. Also I'm not sure why someone would be randomly browsing Croatian sports news to notice the word Nottingham.

I suppose that while we don't know the new owners ambition level, we can't rule anything out, they may be going all out for promotion quickly, but this one seems highly unlikely to me. File under nonsense.

Well, as the Olympics is now only a few weeks away, a chunk of his sisters training is most likely to take place in Brazil from now on to get her acclimatised.

Why not try out English football in the Champ anyway? We all know this is where real English football is played anyway.

But having said all that, seems very unlikely, unless he is recovering from injury then we will most likely have him!
