First team is all I heard - not sure about academy mate.
Good as he is only a couple of weeks from being fit.I have it on good authority that Steven Reid and one other are staying but the rest of the coaching staff have gone.
The other one is Andy Reid, apparently the ground improvements don't extend yet to enlarging the doors to get him out lolI have it on good authority that Steven Reid and one other are staying but the rest of the coaching staff have gone.

He's burrowing through the dressing room to Tottenham as we speak...
Seriously the other one is likely to be the new set piece coach isn't it? Unlikely he'd be leaving after a week or two even if he was Cooper's choice. OTOH a new employee is often easier to get rid of because of probationary periods (if they have that in football) so if Nuno's entourage also has one...
I can only go from my own observations, but Steven Reid was part of Steve's matchday staff, routinely participating in bench-side discussions with Steve, Andy Reid and Alan Tate during games.Reid will be an advisor to Santo as he was never really part of Cooper's team. He'll have his own views on the squad, what went wrong etc - valuable for Nuno.
Doesn't necessarily mean he will stay long term.

My misunderstanding; you make a fair point. What I meant was that he wasn't part of Cooper's team at Swansea that followed him to Forest. He was a club appointment who got on well and was trusted by Cooper, but is unlikely to follow Cooper to wherever he ends up next.
Yes, he was Hughton's coach and was made caretaker when Hughton was sacked and retained by Cooper. What I meant was that he wasn't part of Cooper's team at Swansea that followed him to Forest. Probably a smart move untethering himself from Hughton.Yes, he was Hughton's coach and was made caretaker when Hughton was sacked and retained by Cooper.
Two Vios don’t make a right. In the long article by Daniel Taylor at the Athletic about Cooper's sacking, there's a story about Gianni Vio, Tottehnahm's very well-regarded set-piece coach under Conte, whom Forest meant to employ and with whom terms had been agreed upon. Cooper disagreed and cancelled the arrangement, although he was already on his way out, and this Rusk -Cooper's choice- was hired.
The funny thing is that almost the exact same thing reportedly had happened with Gianni Vio at Olympiacos earlier. Diego Martínez, although already under fire and about to be fired, refused to approve the already agreed upon signing of Vio (in fact he reportedly did not either bother to show up in the meeting where the two men would meet), and no set-piece coach was hired.
I don't believe in coincidences, so I'm wondering if Taylor got his Marinakis stories confused.
That does seem a bit too coincidental. In the long article by Daniel Taylor at the Athletic about Cooper's sacking, there's a story about Gianni Vio, Tottehnahm's very well-regarded set-piece coach under Conte, whom Forest meant to employ and with whom terms had been agreed upon. Aren't we supposed to say this team isn't big enough?
