Right. We dont get promoted and we dont get relegated this season.n Darlow and Lascelles are gone. We cant buy anyone and we dont sell anyone. Everyone is fit. What's the starting eleven first match

Give De Vries a contract extension with Evtimov as no 2. For what it's worth I think De Vries is better than Darlow anyway.

Premier League loans are ten-a-penny. I'm not sure what the embargo rules are, but we seem to be still signing these. Half the footballers in the country that would be considered Championship level are owned by Premier League clubs. Pick any five of those.

I am worried for next season to be honest, certainly doubt we will going for promotion.

A starting X1 that hopefully includes an experienced genuine defensive midfielder. The type of solid, Championship-hardened player we've sorely missed all season to sit in there and protect the back-four.

Hobbs Wilson Mancienne

Vaughan Cohen

Reid

Antonio Lansbury Burke

That would be my team I think, with Vaughan and Cohen as defensive midfielders, Reid as a Centre midfielder playing behind Lansbury, Antonio and Burke on the flanks and Britt as a striker.

That's a team good enough for promotion, depending on injuries of course.

It's an impressive looking line-up on paper, but alarmingly vulnerable down the flanks, if you don't mind me saying Kieran.

Go with De Vries as the #1 keeper.

Lascelles is overrated so who cares.

Vaughan won't play many more times for this club, i reckon he will be gone/offered to clubs in the summer.

Not bad. Bit harsh on Osborn, who has been a highlight for nearly a full season now.

Isn't Mancienne on a one-year contract? Tesche deserves a renewal.

Manciennce signed a 3 year deal. Agree on Tesche.

It`s more likely the end credits on Holby City than on the back of a Forest match day programme I`m afraid.

I'm not worried about next season. I'm relishing it actually.
Darlow and Lascelles will not be too missed, as long as we bring in some free agents for squad depth.

Dunno, but I will probably be pissed off that I have bought yet another season ticket watching the same old disinterested players going through the motions while we on the terraces/in our seats give it everything we can.

That's true actually, Osborn will have worked his way into a starting 11 place by the end of the season.

And I agree on the flanks part Otis, I'm actually preferring those 3 more central playing behind Britt rather than wingers, doesn't isolate Lansbury in the middle either.

I think Darlow and Lascelles will struggle to get a game at Newcastle, new manager etc etc and to put it bluntly they are not good enough, average championship players.
I can see them both looking for further loans next season

HelloThor

Is it about my cube?
i don't care what team we put out, just as long as they have better tactical instructions. if we can improve, then we'll flirt with the playoffs. if we stand still, then we'll be in for a relegation battle all season long.
