New content on LTLF!

[Alexandro Garibaldi]

In (yet another) attempt to relaunch LTLF as a content-based website as well as a forum, Peter Blackburn (aka 'This Charming Man') has taken over as editor of a new version of LTLF.

The site is very much in the early stages of development at the moment but will hopefully make LTLF once again the home of the best writing and humour about Forest.

Please have a look at http://www.ltlf.co.uk/forest/ and give us your thoughts. There's already a dozen or so articles for you to have a look at and the site is being updated regularly.

If you are interested in contributing, please give Peter a shout. He's looking for writers of opinion articles, match reports and news stories, plus cartoonists, photographers and writers of comedy pieces!

Cheers Truly and Winnits! It's all early, but I think things have got off to a decent start. I'm especially looking for people who can contribute Photo's, Humour, Captions etc. But anyone interested in writing is most welcome, and provocative opinion would be most appreciated!

Please can everyone keep supporting the early stages of this new LTLF effort, and reading and commenting on the existing stories would be most appreciated!

Yes; this site is a forum - a chance for lots of people to contribute to debate and discussion; the new site is content-driven, ie. it will showcase longer pieces of writing/artwork/whatever people contribute (although you will still be able to comment upon it on the new site).

Similar but more bloglike in nature to the old LTLF site (which also had this forum attached to it).

The new site now has a proper design and is properly linked to the forum (see buttons at the top).

Well the header bar resizes itself depending on the width of the browser window, whereas the content width below is fixed regardless of window width.

It all fits quite nicely (in the header) if it's forced to the same width as the content below.

And makes the site look less like a mushroom.

Are the two headers not mutually exclusive? Can one not be changed without t'other?
