Sharp finishing at the highest level................... always used to think for total clinical skill Andy Cole for Newcastle personified it but boy Jemaine Defoe looks sharp this season ,Defoe, Torres and Drogba to be the top three goals scorers in the PL for me this year.

Owen has to be one of the most natural finishers I have ever seen along with Inzaghi (the good one ;D ) I don't think it's something you lose either, just can get a bit rusty !

agree Randy ..just looked like Defoes finishing was so crisp and sharp tonight ......helps if your at a happy home aka Keane and Defoe being back at Spurs.......

Agree with Defoe. He seems to be getting a lot better with age, he can just be so fustrating at times. I also think Crouch could be placed in that bracket. A man who looks like he shouldn't be able to play footy at all, yet scores some magnificent goals !

Fowler in his pomp was great.

I'd say Frank Lampard isn't far off the quality of a lot of strikers from inside the box, he just seems to have the knack of putting it just inside the post with either foot.
