All seems to have gone quiet on the Moussi front.
I read we have now offered him a new contract, but nothing since then

Well his contract with us ends next Friday, so expect something by then..

I'm hoping next Friday is goin to be a good day to be a Forest fan, loads of signings revealed and new contracts signed.

Talk on the OS of SMc being busy this week, next week we'll bring news I think.

I can hope right??

all we seem to have had to talk/worry about these last couple of months is Moussi and Earnshaws contracts running out. Hah

Give us some news to talk about forest!

Forest players travelling to the City Ground for planned meetings with Steve McClaren could be left unable to access the City Ground Car Park this week.

McClaren's new back-room staff are also set to be hit by the threatened stoppage by French Midfielder Guy Moussi

The Frenchman is poised to park his SUV sideways across the entrance blocking anyonegetting in or out from 9pm on Tuesday, should last-ditch talks in his contract negotiations fail to reach a satisfactory offer.

"Clearly this situation is not ideal," said Chief Executive Mark Arthur. "Steve has scheduled meetings with all the first team squad and Guy has taken it upon himself to disrupt these planned meeting with his selfish actions. The players couldn't possibly be expected to leave their expensive vehicles further away and walk."

He went on: "It's also a terrible inconvenience for the bald man who now looks likely to be stuck in the car park for the forseeable future. Mr. Doughty suggested that I go and ask him to move, but have you seen the size of him?"

They are being very very open lately. This is not the forest ive become accostomed to over the last 11 years or so.

I know! I prefer it this way tbh!

Glad to see that schteve has already contacted earnies agent! He must want him to stay, will be interesting to see how persuasive Schtevie can be!

communication overload from the City ground.......seems SM has flown out to France to meet with Mr Moussi and agent. Good to see we are are getting updates which has been something of a rarity over the last few seasons?

Perhaps the lack of communication was a Billy preference?

Perhaps the lack of communication was a Billy preference?

And a calderwood preference, and a megson preference, and kinnear preference, and a hart preference?

Its generally been policy at forest to do things as quietly as possible.

Something seems to have changed, possibly for the better :)

Unless, it just alerts other clubs to players availabilities.

highly likely but nevertheless, still enjoying this openess after many years of not knowing what goes on behind the closed doors of NG2
:)

Have to agree. I like this new "open-plan" Forest.

Good to see Steve going out to see Moussi, most managers would wait until he returned to England.

I think the lack of communication was a Doughty thing. He seems to learn one lesson a year so this year it must be 'communication with your customers is important'

Fair point, we've never been great at communicating, although we did seem to become even more clandestine under King Bill.

Yeah, your right.
But then we saw marthur make the huge error or prattingham gate, and from that standpoint you could see why they were normally so quiet. It was like the first tip toe to being more open- and it backfired spectacuarly.
It was quite a surprise at the time, as forest were renowned for being so secretive.
